The heavyweight platter spins on an inverted ceramic ball bearing with a magnetic support to reduce bearing noise and resonance to an absolute minimum.

Steel pellets inside the MDF chassis increase the mass of the Xtension 12 Evolution. As it is not from solid alloy a ringing effect will be avoided.
