Pro-ject Audio Systems - USA T1 EVO
Audiophile Entry Level Turntable
Premium Materials – Stylish Aesthetics – Rich & Lively Sound
Audiophile Engineering. No Plastic.
The stylish CNC-machined wooden plinth features no plastic parts and is carefully manufactured to ensure there are no hollow spaces inside, therefore avoiding unwanted vibrations within the chassis. Carrying this philosophy through the design, the glass platter is also a heavy, zero-resonance design – again avoiding the flaws of plastic or lightweight steel alternatives.
No corners cut. More sound.
The T1 EVO tonearm is a complete one-piece design, entirely made out of aluminium! Together with the low friction bearings, this guarantees absolute accuracy in use. The integrated headshell won‘t cause any additional vibrations either, and is a big improvement over other detachable, screwed-on or glued-on headshells!
Newly designed.
The belt driven motor is attached to a newly designed sub-platter, which is mounted into an ultra-precise 0.001mm main bearing with a hardened stainless steel axle and brass bushing. Alongside the electronically controlled motor system, the T1 EVO is therefore able to ensure a smooth, anti-resonant rotational platform for the tonearm and cartridge to ride across.

FAQs
Why can't I connect my T1 EVO BT to my BT-Receiver?
T1 EVO BT automatically connects to the receiver in your room that receives the strongest signal. If there are too many other BT devices (Smartphone, PC, etc) around it may result in connection problems. In that case please turn off all other BT devices that may affect the connection. If there are some devices which you can't turn off (e.g. your neighbours Smartphone) position the receiver as close to T1 EVO BT as possible.
Why is my music stuttering when I want to listen to it via BT?
Possible causes for stuttering music are: other conflicting BT devices or WiFi, which sends on the same frequency as BT (2.4GHz). Other possible causes are: the distance between sender and receiver is too big, or both devices are in no direct line (furniture or walls blocking direct sight).
My Bluetooth speaker or receiver plays at maximum volume after pairing with my turntable via Bluetooth. Why is this happening?
The T1 Evo BT functions exclusively as a Bluetooth audio transmitter (A2DP source) in accordance with the standardized A2DP profile (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). In this architecture, the roles are clearly defined: • The transmitter transmits only the encoded audio stream. • The receiver (e.g., Bluetooth speaker or receiver) is responsible for decoding, amplification, and volume control. The A2DP specification states that the receiver amplifies the audio signal according to its own volume setting. The associated control function AVRCP (Absolute Volume) also stipulates that the actual volume is managed by the receiver device. Therefore: • The T1 Evo BT has no access to the internal volume of the Bluetooth receiver. • The volume after reconnecting is determined exclusively by the receiver device’s firmware (e.g., last saved value or default value). If a receiver uses an unexpectedly high volume after reconnecting, this is usually due to the firmware implementation of the respective Bluetooth receiver, not the T1 Evo BT.
