Estelon AURUS
Built-in Power Amplifier
Design Philosophy
- At Estelon, we design loudspeakers and subwoofers that form a synergy with their acoustic environment. Every element in a room shapes how we perceive music.
- The AURUS is designed to disappear into the space, leaving only powerful, emotionally engaging bass that integrates naturally with the system.
Cabinet Technology
The AURUS cabinet combines precision-milled plywood with a thermoformed, mineral-doped composite shell, creating an ultra-rigid, inert enclosure.
Its unique structure suppresses resonance and houses a 346 mm long-excursion driver paired with a passive radiator for clean, distortion-free performance.
The adhesive bonding the materials further improves damping and stability. The passive radiator enhances low-frequency extension and output, while eliminating port noise.
Driver and Amplification System
- The AURUS integrates a 1200 W bridged Class-D amplifier, delivering tight, accurate bass reproduction even at high output levels.
Filter and Input Configuration
- AURUS features dual input systems:
Active Analog Line-Level Filter (XLR input)
Passive High-Level Filter (speaker-level input) - Four filter profiles are available, optimised for AURA and AURELLE speakers, selectable via rear-panel switches.
- Level control includes ±6 dB for active input and 0 or +3 dB for passive input.
- All filters are designed for ultra-low latency, ensuring perfect phase alignment with the main speakers.
