With the Celebrity series, clearaudio honors the great artists of our time. The first edition of this series is dedicated to jazz guitar legend Al Di Meola. The US musician with Italian roots has received multiple awards, including a Grammy. This extraordinary edition combines masterful craftsmanship with a passion for music and vinyl.

Iconic Form

The heart of this turntable is a body made of high-density wood fiber, designed in the shape of an electric guitar – a clear sign of the close collaboration with Al Di Meola himself. Inside, it features the finest clearaudio technology, making the turntable a true high-end device.

High-Tech Components

The platter is driven by a flat belt that goes through the innovative Tacho-Speed-Control (TSC). This system monitors the speed in real-time and automatically adjusts it to changing influences such as belt tension or temperature fluctuations. In addition, an automatic speed calibration takes place with every restart – for consistently optimal performance.

To avoid vibrations and unwanted disturbances, the motor is decoupled using the Innovative Motor Suspension (IMS). This technology prevents vibrations from being transmitted to the chassis. This keeps the sound clear and unadulterated at all times.

Special attention was paid to the design: the volume knob of an electric guitar functions as a multifunctional control. With a simple push of a button, the turntable is started, the speed is switched between 33 1/3 and 45 RPM, or the device is put into standby mode. In calibration mode, the fine adjustment of the speed is done by turning the knob.

The design of the Celebrity turntable is completed by a special version of the Profiler tonearm and a specially developed MM cartridge, also named Celebrity. This unique turntable is offered in black or wood look (rosewood real wood veneer).

The package is limited to 1,000 units and comes with a numbered special release album by Al Di Meola and a pick – a true collector's item for music lovers and vinyl enthusiasts.
