Estelon X DIAMOND Signature Edition
Design Philosophy
At Estelon, every loudspeaker begins with the understanding that music is shaped by space. Our designs work in harmony with the room itself, acknowledging that walls, floors, ceilings, and furnishings all contribute to the final experience.
Low frequencies behave like atmospheric pressure, which is why the woofer is positioned near the floor for even bass distribution and improved clarity.
At higher frequencies, the mid-woofer and tweeter are positioned higher on the cabinet in a vertical alignment, reducing reflections and ensuring a coherent, stable stereo image.
Cabinet Technology
The cabinet of the X Diamond Signature Edition is anything but conventional. Its flowing curves support both aesthetics and acoustics, with no flat or parallel surfaces inside or out.
Made from Estelon’s proprietary marble-based composite, the cabinet is seamless, rigid, and acoustically inert. Each driver is housed in its own optimised chamber, while internal dampening materials are precisely placed to ensure tonal balance and detail throughout the frequency range.
Driver Positioning and Cabinet Geometry
All three drivers are placed on a curved front panel, ensuring sound from each driver arrives simultaneously at the listening position.
The cabinet’s soft curves eliminate diffraction, expanding the sweet spot and ensuring a consistent soundstage across the room.
Custom Connectors
The X Diamond Signature Edition introduces an in-house developed connector system inspired by piano keys.
These spring-loaded connectors use copper foil ribbons for direct signal transmission, eliminating multiple metal-to-metal contacts and reducing unwanted coloration.
Crossover Design
The crossover network is isolated in its own chamber, using second-order slopes and crossover points at 86 Hz and 2 kHz.
Components are hand-selected: Mundorf and Jantzen capacitors, Goertz copper foil inductors, and Mundorf steel-core inductors. All are hand-soldered using point-to-point wiring, with Kubala-Sosna cabling ensuring maximum signal purity.
Next-Generation Isolation Feet and Spikes
To further enhance performance, the X Diamond Signature Edition is equipped with Stillpoints Ultra SS V2 isolation feet. These innovative components ensure consistent sound quality across different floor types while improving soundstage and bass articulation, with every note rendered with precision and realism.

Estelon X DIAMOND Signature Edition — reference resolution with sculptural presence
The X DIAMOND Signature Edition pairs a 25 mm Accuton diamond inverted‑dome tweeter with massive marble‑based composite cabinets to deliver an unusually articulate, highly resolved presentation. With a claimed 22–60 kHz bandwidth and Accuton ceramic drivers throughout, the speaker blends deep, authoritative low end with exquisitely detailed highs and a broad, holographic soundstage.
Midrange detail benefits from a 173 mm ceramic mid‑woofer and top‑tier internal parts: Kubala‑Sosna OptimiZ cabling, Mundorf Ultra resistors in the crossover and resin‑baked coils for bass. The Signature Edition also introduces Estelon’s 3D‑printed clamp connectors and Stillpoints Ultra SS V2 isolation feet to preserve clarity and improve low‑end articulation. For more on the launch and its engineering, see Audiophil‑Online and SoundStage Solo.
At 86 kg per speaker with a limited run of 20 pairs, the X DIAMOND is aimed at reference systems and collectors who value both show‑stopping aesthetics and benchmark performance; note that a capable amplifier is recommended to unlock its dynamics.
Pros
- Exceptional high‑frequency resolution and airfulness from the Accuton 25 mm diamond inverted dome and 60 kHz upper response.
- Deep, authoritative bass and controlled LF provided by a large 280 mm Accuton woofer, ported cabinet and very heavy marble‑composite enclosure.
- Reference‑grade parts and implementation — Kubala‑Sosna internal wiring, Mundorf Ultra resistors and resin‑baked coils — yield refined midrange clarity and excellent component synergy.
- Innovative clamp‑style, 3D‑printed connectors and included Stillpoints isolation feet help reduce unwanted mechanical/electrical artifacts and improve bass articulation.

Cons
- Ultra‑luxury price and extremely limited availability (20 pairs) make it primarily a collectible for well‑heeled buyers rather than a broad‑market value proposition.
- Moderate sensitivity (87 dB) and a 6 Ω nominal impedance mean a powerful, high‑current amplifier is advisable to fully exploit the speakers’ dynamic potential.
Sound Quality
95/100
Bass
95/100
11" Accuton woofer, 23 Hz stated response and very large/heavy marble-composite cabinet point to deep, authoritative bass for a stand-alone tower. Ported (bass-reflex) tuning plus the 86 kg cabinet suggest solid extension and room-filling LF; sensitivity 87 dB means a capable amp is needed to fully realize low-end authority.
Mid
95/100
7" Accuton ceramic mid-woofer and high-quality internal wiring (Kubala-Sosna) indicate exceptional timbral accuracy and vocal presence. Expect very coherent crossover blending and detailed, natural mids typical of ceramic-driver designs.
Treble
96/100
25 mm Accuton diamond inverted-dome tweeter and 60 kHz upper response point to outstanding extension, air and micro-detail. Diamond dome technology typically yields extremely refined, resolving highs with excellent transient detail.
Soundstage Imaging
96/100
Precision drivers, rigid heavy cabinet and meticulous parts complement imply superb image focus, layering and holographic staging. The driver complement and high-end crossover components support excellent spatial cues and depth.
Dynamics
92/100
200 W power rating and large radiating area promise strong macro- and micro-dynamics, but 87 dB sensitivity and nominal 6 Ω (min 3.5 Ω) means dynamics depend on amplifier headroom. With a powerful amp these should be very impactful; lower-powered systems may not reveal the full slam.

Build Quality
98/100
Marble-based composite cabinets, very heavy 86 kg per speaker, Accuton drivers and Kubala-Sosna internal wiring all point to top-tier engineering and fit/finish. Expect exceptional resonance control, premium materials and meticulous crossover implementation.
Features Connectivity
80/100
Passive tower baseline applied.
Value for Money
70/100
At the listed price (~144,900), these are ultra-luxury speakers. Performance and materials justify a premium, but the very high asking price constrains value for most buyers unless seeking a show-piece reference-level system.
