The BLACK MA1200 power amplifier draws technology from the MPS2 DAC/amplifier system by replacing the internal DAC function with a bespoke discrete amplification stage. The same remarkable musical transparency is present with every detail of the performance in an enveloping soundstage filled with dynamic presence.

A dedicated low noise triple-isolated power transformer linear supply powers all critical analog stages in the MA1200 as in the the MPS2, the MA1200 delivers pure, dynamic music in real world conditions. The power output stage is powered from a low-noise, highly efficient switching power supply, lowering the output noise floor beyond perception.

The high current and absolute control of the MA1200 allows your speakers to perform at their best. Creating a presentation with great musical ease and delight in every listening.

The output power buffer stage is a discrete, low gain, low noise buffer that can drive 40A peaks into a 2-ohm load. It adds virtually no noise or distortion to the voltage amplifier output resulting in an extremely transparent audio power stage using only 4 high current output MOSFET power devices operating in an efficient self-oscillating analog switching architecture adding neither coloration nor distortion. The chassis design isolates these critical analog stages within a controlled, optimized environment, ensuring maximum performance under real-world system conditions.
