For more than 25 years we have experimented with the benefits of wooden headphones. The ATH-WB LTD maple, walnut, and mahogany housings recreate a natural sense of fullness and harmonics, enhancing the acoustic reproduction of instruments with realistic bass texturing.

The headphones’ exclusive 45 mm HD drivers are designed, developed, and made in our factories in Japan. Adopted from the ATH-WB2022, the ATH-WB LTD drivers have been specially tuned to provide the best listening experience from the analog configuration.

The earpads and headband of the ATH-WB LTD are made from supple, durable sheepskin for long-lasting comfort. The headphones’ portable design is bolstered by a strong, lightweight aluminum alloy frame and the earcups swivel-flat for convenient storage in the included carrying pouch. A2DC (Audio Designed Detachable Coaxial) jacks ensure that the included 1.2 m (3.9') detachable cables connect securely to deliver the highest-quality audio.

High-performance magnetic circuit

Experience improved transient characteristics and faithful reproduction of sound sources with a built-in integrated pure-iron yoke that is easily magnetized by high-force magnets in the headphones to create an optimal closed magnetic circuit.

DLC-coated diaphragm

Designed and manufactured in-house, the diaphragm features a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating for improved reproducibility of high-frequency sounds without sacrificing low-frequency resolution.

The full-bandwidth soundstage allows listeners to enjoy even the subtlest tones of vocals and instruments.
