With plenty of power and precision on tap, Dynamo 10 also features an array of connectivity options ranging from XLR to the built-in wireless option. If that weren’t enough, Dynamo 10 also features MartinLogan’s powerful and intuitive control app for convenient setup and adjustment, as well as being compatible with the award-winning Anthem Room Correction (ARC®) system.
Seamlessly Integrating High-Performance Audio with Elegant Design
Emphasizing high performance and decor-friendly aesthetics, MartinLogan subwoofers expertly blend audiophile musicality and theatricality with dynamic output and accuracy in a compact design. As with all MartinLogan subwoofers, the Dynamo Series is designed to work with any speaker system while being uniquely engineered to keep pace with the exotic thin-film technologies utilized in MartinLogan loudspeakers.
Advanced Aluminum Woofers for Powerful, Distortion-Free Bass
Dynamo 10 features a custom-designed 10” aluminum woofer tuned using state-of-the-art Klippel analysis for high output and low distortion. The light weight, high strength, and excellent heat dissipation properties of aluminum make it ideal for delivering clean, powerful bass in a compact design. Meticulously engineered for maximum precision and dynamics, Dynamo subwoofers offer versatile performance to meet your musical and powerful bass needs.
Magnitude® MT-1kW Amplifier
To feed Dynamo 10’s aluminum woofer with as much power as it can use, the advanced MT-1kW amplifier delivers up to 1000W peak (500W RMS) of clean power, ensuring remarkable impact and seamless musicality. MartinLogan’s Magnitude amplifiers are designed to deliver their power reserves with ultra-low distortion to ensure maximum fidelity along with high output capability. Guaranteeing exceptional control, the MT-1kW amplifier helps Dynamo 10 provide an immersive audio experience that enhances your favorite content at all volume levels.
Built-In Wireless Capability
Although correct placement plays a key role in optimizing subwoofer performance, getting a cable where you need it can be challenging. For ultimate convenience, our Dynamo subwoofers come with a built-in Wireless Receiver and Wireless Transmitter, making it easier than ever to eliminate cable clutter. With lossless transmission and low latency, even the most discerning enthusiast will be thrilled with the results.
Sound Structure
The cabinet plays a critical role in the sound quality of a speaker. Dynamo subwoofer cabinets are made of 1” thick MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) with additional reinforcement on the woofer baffle. This solid construction provides a more stable platform for the high performance woofer to play from, resulting in cleaner, more articulate bass.
Robust Connectivity
In addition to the built-in wireless connection option, Dynamo 10 offers incredible wired installation flexibility. With both RCA and XLR LFE inputs, Stereo RCA inputs, Speaker Level inputs, and Sub Out connections, Dynamo 10 can be easily integrated into even the most complex systems. Simultaneous connections are also supported.
Reduced Vibration, Enhanced Bass
Solid bass performance is a critical component of any audio system and contributes to the visceral impact of your entertainment. Dynamo 10’s integrated anti-vibration feet improve bass performance while reducing floor and wall vibrations. By dramatically reducing energy transfer between the subwoofer and the floor, unwanted room rattles and buzzes are eliminated, resulting in tighter, cleaner bass and improved system clarity and dynamics. As a less intrusive alternative to acoustic room treatments, Dynamo 10’s integrated anti-vibration feet can also help minimize noise complaints by reducing vibration transfer into adjoining rooms. Out of the box, Dynamo 10’s anti-vibration feet are safe for all flooring types, and optional carpet spikes are included to further improve performance on carpeted floors.
Fine-Tune Your Subwoofer Settings with MartinLogan's Intuitive App
By far the most convenient way to adjust a subwoofer, MartinLogan’s Subwoofer Control app for iOS and Android devices allows you to easily adjust settings such as Volume, DSP Mode, Phase, and many others right from the comfort of your seat for ultimate control and ease of tuning.
Legendary Performance in Your Choice of Style
Dynamo 10 can be finished in your choice of two elegant finishes. The Gloss Black version features a beautiful, mirror-like finish accented by gunmetal trim around the woofer. A matching trim band also surrounds the cabinet, creating a unique and stylish look. Dynamo 10 is also available in Satin White, a non-gloss white finish that is both bright and modern. This striking finish is accented by silver woofer trim and a matching trim band. Both versions use MartinLogan’s unique grille retention system which uses no visible mounting hardware, resulting in a clean look when the grille is removed.

Bass
88/100
Strong low-frequency impact and extension for a compact 10" sealed design; reviewer notes a stated 23–120 Hz response and that the Dynamo 10 "added noticeable extension and impact" and "added weight" to bass instruments. Limitations at very low notes and high volumes are called out: it "ran out of steam with the lowest notes at high volume" and is not recommended to pressurize large rooms with deep synth bass.
Dynamics
92/100
Very capable dynamics driven by a 1,000W peak / 500W RMS Magnitude amplifier and Klippel-informed driver design; reviewer describes "visceral impact on the drums" and that it reproduced speed and detail without distortion, improving musical slam and enjoyment.

Integration
93/100
Integration is excellent in practice: the reviewer says the app controls and ARC "made for smooth integration, providing a nearly seamless transition between the bookshelf speakers and subwoofer." The reviewer also states they "cannot think of an instance where I preferred the system without the Dynamo," indicating the sub blends well with mains.
Build Quality
88/100
Solid, performance-oriented cabinet: reviewer notes a precision-crafted sealed MDF enclosure with a 1" thick woofer baffle and that informal knuckle-testing indicated the cabinet is "fairly solid and inert." Anti-vibration feet and clean modern finishes (Gloss Black or Satin White) add to perceived build quality.
Features Connectivity
92/100
Rich feature set and connectivity: built-in wireless (transmitter included), balanced LFE/XLR, stereo and speaker-level inputs, and a full-featured app with presets, ARC Genesis support, PEQ, phase, and adjustable LPF. Reviewer found no audible difference between wired and wireless and praised the app/ARC for practical control; ARC requires purchase of the measurement mic for full use.
Value for Money
86/100
Good value for the $1,199 price: reviewer calls it an "attractive option at an attractive price" and says the series "has that little bit of extra performance, build quality and aesthetics," but the crowded segment and the sub's size-limited extension keep it from being rated as a must-buy or 'best in class.'
