In the high-end market, many headphones are available that offer the most pleasant, all-around satisfying sound for listening to as many musical genres as possible.

At ULTRASONE, we have always said that a single headphone cannot ideally cover all listening needs. The requirements from classical or other acoustic music to electronic music or even gaming are too far apart to be perfectly represented by one headphone. Just as you wouldn't drive a SUV on a racetrack and vice versa. Crossover is always far from the optimum, which is why ULTRASONE doesn't do such things.

At ULTRASONE, there are specialists like the Edition 8 EX. With razor-sharp precision, it is ideal for electric music and gaming, as it combines titanium-coated transducers with the unique S-Logic-EX system like no other device on the market.

The closed design further enhances these characteristics, as external noises can be largely blocked out. In gaming, for example, a significantly improved performance can be achieved because one can perceive things not only more precisely and better, but also earlier. Experienced gamers have confirmed this to us multiple times, even though this headphone was originally not designed for gaming.

Over the years, this headphone has continuously improved. As is typical for ULTRASONE, product improvements are always incorporated into the current series. Among other things, the internal OFC cables were replaced with silver-plated ones, and the connection cables were improved.
