When the founder has free rein

When considering such a project, of course only a new edition in limited quantities comes into question (since I want to build them myself), with improved functionality and the most modern acoustics.

Thus, the step was obvious to tune and adapt the famous, legendary GTC transducer of Edition 15 to the Founders Series.

The result was a sound that takes your breath away. While the Editions 8, 10, and 12 were already reference class in sound at the time, the Founders Series based on them clearly overshadow them. Moreover, they are all playable in balanced mode with a corresponding cable.

The very special advantages of extremely good passive noise cancellation in the closed version and even more improved extreme airiness in the open variant come particularly well to the fore with the new tuning.

Additionally, there is a detachable connection cable with MMCX connectors, depending on the version one or two transport bags, a case in wood or leather, and sometimes even a wooden stand included.

This, as well as the material combination, is a surprise. You can choose between open and closed. Which variant you get - whether with a headband made of wood, aluminum, carbon, mother-of-pearl, ceramic, with capsules with aluminum, ruthenium (glossy or matte), PVD, or palladium finish, with a black or silver bow, and so on - is a surprise.

One thing is certain: you get a highly exclusive, unique product, of which sometimes only a single piece exists.
