Tsakiridis Devices Aeolos
Aeolos is an Integrated amplifier with 4 inputs and one pre output.
It’s design is a push-pull configuration implementing 2 power tubes per channel in class AB1 operation and dual-mono power supply.
All electronic components are through hole type soldered by hand.
Aeolos utilizes our 8 layer handmade output transformers for superb sound quality.
Aeolos is our best selling integrated amplifier. It offers everything the user needs in a compact and classic design. The push – pull configuration draws enough power from the output tubes to drive a wide range of loudspeakers.
Gold plated RCA connectors are implemented for the signal inputs/output and high quality binding posts for the loudspeakers. For the volume control the classic blue Alps is used.
An elegant remote control in aluminum case offers you control over all the functions of Aeolos integrated amplifier. Volume control, input selection, mute and power tubes bias mode.
Carefully selected values and types of the electronic components contribute to the reliable circuits operation and the high sound quality of the amplifier. The meticulous PCB design ensures excellent behavior in SNR, distortion and channel separation.
Inner signal wiring with high quality shielded signal cable. Power wiring uses high quality copper cables of more-than-needed AWG gauge, to achieve low impedance power transfer. All power cables are twisted in pairs to minimize the electromagnetic interference.
The handmade multilayer output transformers allow the amplifier to reveal the sound stage and all the music details through the entire audio spectrum.
Made by us and tested thoroughly for quality and reliability.
The same applies to the power transformer. The positioning of the transformers is such that minimizes the magnetic coupling between power and output transformers.

Value for Money
92/100
The Aeolos delivers natural EL34 midrange, three-dimensional warmth and a refined, airy top end, wrapping tube richness around an engaging sense of detail. Zero Fidelity also found its deep imaging, focused center stage and flexible ultralinear/triode operation especially compelling. With sensitive speakers, this Greek-built integrated makes music feel vivid, intimate and thoroughly involving.
What Reviewers Are Saying
Pros
Natural, open and detailed midrange combines warmth, body and convincing three-dimensionality.
Deep soundstage and strong image focus create an involving, well-layered presentation.
Offers 35W ultralinear and 20W triode modes, plus feedback adjustment for adaptable speaker matching.
Substantial, convincingly well-made construction and strong value were praised by the reviewer.
&
Cons
Bass weight is limited versus transistor alternatives, which may disappoint listeners seeking high output and slam.
Dynamics are merely decent with average-sensitivity speakers; efficient loudspeakers are a better fit.
Manual tube biasing is required, and the supplied remote is a basic plastic universal design.
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 90/100
The Aeolos is described as a natural, warmly embodied EL34 design with an open, detailed midrange and a notably three-dimensional presentation. Its staging is a particular strength, while its moderate power means dynamics are most convincing with sensitive loudspeakers.
Transparency Resolution
91/100
Zero Fidelity finds the sound open and detailed rather than soft or opaque. The reviewer especially praises the natural, clear presentation through the midrange.
Tonal Balance Musicality
93/100
The reviewer highlights the classic EL34 virtues of warmth, body and natural tone, while noting an added sense of excitement. This is presented as a pleasant, engaging amplifier that retains detail rather than becoming overly lush.
Dynamics
84/100
Dynamic output is described as good with high-sensitivity loudspeakers, such as Klipsch Cornwall models. With more typical speakers, however, the reviewer considers it merely decent rather than especially forceful or surprising.
Soundstage Imaging
91/100
Zero Fidelity reports very good soundstage depth and strong focus between the speakers. The amplifier is said to give a wide range of speakers a solid, well-defined central image.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
88/100
The Aeolos is designed and manufactured in Greece and weighs nearly 40 pounds. Zero Fidelity considers it convincingly well made in person, though the review offers limited detail on its internal construction or long-term durability.
Features Connectivity
82/100
Connectivity is deliberately straightforward: four analogue inputs, a tape output and a supplied remote control. The remote is described as a basic plastic universal type, and there are no digital inputs, phono stage, headphone output or network functions mentioned.
Value for Money
92/100
At $2,395, Zero Fidelity explicitly calls the Aeolos a great value for the money alongside its strong sonic performance. The review does not offer direct competing-model comparisons, but its recommendation is unequivocally positive.
