Jadis Electronics DA88
The Jadis DA88 delivers a natural, human-sounding presentation that makes performances feel emotionally immediate rather than merely impressive. Jules Coleman of Enjoy The Music found its blend of Class A drive, delicate expression and flowing musical ease exceptional. With 60 watts, flexible output-tube options and bi-wire terminals, it is a commanding tube integrated for deeply involving listening.

What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 91/100
The DA88S MkII is described as exceptionally involving and lifelike, with a rare ability to communicate music's emotional intent. Its presentation combines force and responsiveness with a flowing, natural manner, although the supplied review is less specific about conventional detail retrieval and spatial imaging.
Transparency Resolution
85/100
The reviewer calls the amplifier natural, lifelike, and free of excess, which suggests a convincingly unforced presentation. However, the review does not directly address low-level detail, noise floor, treble air, clarity, or transparency in the usual audiophile sense.
Tonal Balance Musicality
97/100
This is the DA88S MkII's clearest strength. The reviewer calls it the most musically convincing and enjoyable tube integrated he has experienced, praising its human, natural voice and extraordinary communication of emotional content.
Dynamics
96/100
The Jadis is praised for combining substantial drive and force with the ability to render delicate, fleeting musical gestures. Its 60-watt pure-Class-A output reportedly brought compact monitors to life and filled a large room with a joyful, energetic presence.
Soundstage Imaging
85/100
The reviewer describes music as flowing naturally and beautifully through the partnered open-baffle loudspeakers. There is little direct discussion of stage width, depth, image focus, or layering, so the spatial performance is less fully documented than its musical expressiveness.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
81/100
The review confirms that this is a substantial amplifier, while the supplied specifications list a 46 kg chassis and pure-Class-A operation. Reviewers provide little direct commentary on chassis execution, internal construction, reliability, or long-term durability.
Features Connectivity
85/100
The DA88 provides five RCA line inputs, a line/preamp output, and dual speaker terminals intended for bi-wiring. It also supports several compatible output-tube types and has an optional remote, but it omits built-in digital inputs, streaming, phono, headphone connectivity, and balanced connections.
Value for Money
85/100
The review lists a price of $18,900, placing the Jadis firmly in the premium integrated-amplifier market. It offers emphatic praise for the listening experience, but does not directly compare its value against competing amplifiers or assess whether the asking price is justified.
