The Mavros Assist Tonearm Ultra L RCA brings a new level of quality to this category, with a particular emphasis on consistency of performance across the widest range of system configurations (a trait shared by all products in the Mavros range).

Mavros uses very high-purity elongated-crystal copper manufactured using the OCC (Ohno Continuous Casting) process, ensuring the signal follows a faster, cleaner and more direct path.

With minimal RF interference and noise susceptibility as a design priority, the cable is configured as two independently-balanced channels for optimum stereo separation; each is individually shielded, then wrapped in a OFC braid.

The unique 3D-printed liner within the Ultra L (Latik) plug reduces the influence of the connector itself to extremely low levels. These cold-weld solder-free connectors further help minimise breaks in signal continuity. Both conductor and plug pins are OCC copper rather than the more typical mix of materials found in such cables, which typically compromise performance when dealing with the very low-level signals generated by phono cartridges.

The precision-machined Assist 5 pin tonearm plug offers cable entry from either the side (90° right angle entry) or from the base (180° straight entry), please specify when ordering.

The result is a persuasive, uncoloured sound with superb stereo imaging and extended dynamic range. Listening to music via Mavros reveals a very high level of detail, but only as part of a coherent whole, without artifice or the initially impressive, but ultimately fatiguing, exaggeration of the leading edges of notes.
