The original aim of the Atlas Asimi project was to take a completely fresh look at cable design and, where necessary, to develop new techniques to create a cable which would satisfy the most critical listeners for years to come. For this latest generation version, we again went back to basics, re-assessing our existing design & manufacturing processes, exploring different construction methods and experimenting with new materials.

Silver cables have something of a reputation for unpredictable sound quality in some quarters; we believe the Asimi definitively shows the problem is typically with either: a] low-grade materials and poor manufacture; or b] using high quality silver cables which can reveal previously unnoticed limitations in the source material or elsewhere in the system.

On the other hand, if you are fortunate enough to own a superlative system which has been finely tuned and optimised in every other respect, Asimi may prove to be something of a revelation.

Fully screened against the ingress of RFI ‘noise,’ this Arran cable also incorporates our precision dd (dual-drain) system, where twin symmetrical drain wires connect the screen to the cable return/plug interface, allowing cable termination without distorting, twisting or mechanically stressing the precision-laid screen.
