Features Connectivity
88/100
Value for Money
85/100
The Arylic B50 SE brings clean Flat-mode sound and unusually broad connectivity to compact stereo systems. Audio Masterclass found no audible defects outside its EQ presets, while RCA, optical, Bluetooth, USB playback and USB-C DAC capability make it a flexible hub. A volume-tracking, filtered sub output adds genuine 2.1-system versatility.
What Reviewers Are Saying
Pros
Clean, defect-free sound was reported when used in Flat EQ mode.
Exceptional input flexibility: RCA, optical, Bluetooth, USB-drive playback and USB-C computer DAC.
Volume-tracking, low-pass-filtered subwoofer output supports a practical compact 2.1 setup.
&
Cons
The reviewer found every preset EQ mode poor-sounding; Flat is the recommended setting.
One speaker-terminal nut was detached and others were loose on the review sample.
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 76/100
The available review finds no obvious defects when the amplifier is used in its Flat setting, but considers every preset EQ mode unusable. There is little direct commentary on detail, spatial presentation, or dynamic authority.
Transparency Resolution
76/100
Audio Masterclass reports no audible defects from the amplifier in normal Flat-mode listening. The review offers little specific comment on fine-detail retrieval, background quietness, or openness.
Tonal Balance Musicality
78/100
The reviewer finds the Flat setting acceptable but says the preset EQ options all sound terrible. For best results, this amplifier appears best used without its tonal presets engaged.
Dynamics
75/100
The supplied power rating is 50W per channel into 4 ohms or 30W into 8 ohms. The review says little about transient punch, speaker control, or how the amplifier behaves at demanding listening levels.
Soundstage Imaging
75/100
The review does not meaningfully discuss stereo width, depth, image focus, or layering. There is therefore limited published evidence about its spatial performance.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
70/100
The reviewer found one speaker-terminal nut detached during unboxing and noted that the remaining terminal nuts were loose. That is a significant fit-and-finish concern, even though no wider chassis or reliability assessment is provided.
Features Connectivity
88/100
For a compact stereo amplifier, the B50 SE is unusually flexible: it offers RCA, optical, Bluetooth, USB-drive playback, and USB-C computer audio. It also includes a volume-tracking, low-pass-filtered subwoofer output, which makes it practical for a small 2.1 system.
Value for Money
85/100
At $89, the B50 SE packages a broad selection of digital, analog, Bluetooth, USB, and subwoofer connections into a small amplifier. The review does not directly assess whether it is good value against competing models.
