Value for Money
94/100
A remarkably versatile compact amp, the Arylic B50 brings neutral, full-bodied sound, precise imaging and genuinely useful subwoofer control to TV, desktop and small-room systems. Prime Audio Reviews praised its intact musical detail, clean output and extensive EQ flexibility, while Audioholics highlighted its easy, high-value appeal for everyday speaker setups.
What Reviewers Are Saying
Pros
Exceptionally broad connectivity, including HDMI ARC, phono input, USB DAC, optical input, adjustable subwoofer output, and Bluetooth transmit/receive.
Delivers a neutral, full-bodied presentation with precise imaging, intact detail, and clean volume for small-room systems.
Strong value for TV audio, nearfield listening, bedrooms, patios, and other compact speaker setups.
&
Cons
Stock voicing can sound dry, with recessed treble, somewhat muffled mids, and slow bass; EQ adjustment is advisable for music-focused listening.
HDMI ARC may require manually reselecting the input after the amplifier enters sleep mode, and Bluetooth transmission was reported as occasionally unstable.
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 83/100
The B50 is capable of an enjoyable, full-bodied sound in a small-room or nearfield system, with one reviewer finding its detail and imaging particularly convincing. Its voicing is less refined than the strongest budget stereo amplifiers, however: another reviewer heard recessed treble, a somewhat muffled midrange and slow, imprecise bass unless the EQ was carefully adjusted.
Transparency Resolution
83/100
Prime Audio Reviews found that musical details and nuances remained intact, describing the presentation as sounding as it should. Potato Fi Reviews was less impressed, hearing a dry balance with recessed treble and a somewhat muffled midrange; an external DAC made only a slight difference.
Tonal Balance Musicality
82/100
One reviewer described the default sound as neutral and full-bodied, and Cheap Audio Man found it could be made appealing and engaging with its tone controls. Potato Fi Reviews found the stock tuning dry and insufficiently refined for dedicated music listening, with EQ recommended to achieve a more pleasing balance.
Dynamics
84/100
In a small room, Prime Audio Reviews found plenty of usable volume and reported no audible distortion. Cheap Audio Man also found it drove 4-ohm, 89dB speakers cleanly at sensible listening levels, though the modest Class D power output makes it better suited to compact spaces than demanding large-room systems.
Soundstage Imaging
83/100
Prime Audio Reviews described the staging and imaging as precise, a welcome strength for a compact desktop or small-room amplifier. Other reviews focus more on tonal adjustment and connectivity, so there is limited further commentary on stage size or depth.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
80/100
The supplied reviews do not offer meaningful hands-on commentary about chassis construction, internal components or long-term reliability. They do indicate that HDMI ARC and the subwoofer output generally worked well in testing, although one reviewer noted that HDMI operation could be interrupted when the unit entered sleep mode.
Features Connectivity
95/100
This is exceptionally versatile for a compact stereo amplifier: it includes analog line and MM/MC phono inputs, optical, HDMI ARC, USB storage playback, USB-C computer audio, Bluetooth reception and a subwoofer output with adjustable crossover. Bluetooth transmission to headphones or speakers, app-based EQ and bass management, TV-remote volume control via HDMI CEC, and strong Bluetooth range make it especially practical for TV, desktop and multi-purpose systems.
Value for Money
94/100
At its $139 MSRP, Audioholics called the B50 hard to beat for easily running speakers in spaces such as a bedroom, gym or patio. Cheap Audio Man described $127–$150 as a steal for the feature set, while Potato Fi Reviews recommended it for its functionality and versatility and noted frequent discounts that can bring the price closer to $95.
