Van den Hul SCS-16

The SCS – 16 is a 16 gauge, 19 strand single-lead. Each strand is made of very high grade Matched Crystal (MC) OFC covered with a dense and very pure silver coating.

• The resistance of this wire is: 14.1 Ohm/km.
• The total metal cross-section area is: 1.22 mm².
• The external diameter is: 1.96 mm.
• The insulation material is PTFE with “ van den Hul SCS – 16 ” printing.
• The absence of any harshness (thanks to the special extrusion processing) is an important sonic quality aspect of this type of wire.
• The main purpose of this wire is internal interconnect in pre and power amps. The SCS – 16 can also be used as a tweeter connection to the crossover in a loudspeaker system.
• The insulation voltage rating is 600 Volt RMS and the actual test voltage is 3500 Volt RMS.
• The SCS – 16 is available in 8 colors: black, brown, red, yellow, green, blue, grey and white.

The SCS – 16 is available on 100 and on 200 meter reels.
