The Boomslang isn’t just another digital cable — it’s a complete reimagining of what a digital interconnect can be. Built around a non-coaxial design, it uses a solid core pure silver feed conductor and a solid core pure silver return conductor, ensuring wide-open bandwidth in both directions. By eliminating the common braided-shield return path found in coaxial designs, the Boomslang avoids the signal choke points caused by microfilament wire strands, allowing detail, dynamics, and musical nuance to pass through with stunning clarity.

This is a digital cable that delivers real musical performance — openness, energy, body, and flow — unlike anything else in its class. Built entirely by hand, one at a time, Boomslang cables feature our proprietary multipole magnetic shielding for superior noise rejection, and are voiced specifically for high-end digital systems that demand uncompromised performance.

Boomslang is available in SPDIF configurations using WBT-0110Ag RCA connectors with EMI-rejecting Al/Mg barrels, or Neutrik BNC connectors. We also offer 110-ohm AES versions with Neutrik XLR connectors.

Why 1.37 Meters?

In the world of digital audio, length matters — especially with SPDIF and AES cables. Due to the nature of digital signal reflection and propagation, cables shorter than approximately 1.37 meters can cause a phenomenon known as data reflection, where part of the signal bounces back from the receiving end and interferes with the incoming data. This creates jitter, which degrades the timing of the signal and leads to a collapse in focus, clarity, and coherence.

Through extensive real-world testing — not just lab theory — we’ve found that 1.37 meters is the shortest length that consistently avoids these issues. It allows the full waveform to transmit cleanly without reflections contaminating the signal. Going shorter risks harshness and smearing; going longer doesn’t hurt, but adds no real benefit. 1.37m is the digital sweet spot — and that’s exactly why every Boomslang cable is built to that length or longer.
