Marten COLTRANE SUPREME EXTREME
When the feeling is real.
We don’t just want to hear music. We want to feel it—deeply and without compromise. Coltrane Supreme Extreme was born from that desire. A five-way, dual-tower speaker that removes every barrier between artist and listener. It’s the closest we’ve ever come to pure sound.
Hear what was always there.
This is where the voice gives form to feeling. The diamond tweeter and high midrange bring breathtaking clarity and articulation. The beryllium midrange wasn’t the goal—just the perfect solution. And the new Crystalid mid-bass drivers reveal the subtle textures where true emotion lives.
DRIVERS
1” pure diamond tweeter
Made from pure diamond, this ultra-rigid dome offers exceptional stiffness and low mass—enabling pistonic motion well beyond the audible range. Its natural damping suppresses resonance, resulting in extremely low distortion and lightning-fast transient response. With high thermal conductivity to ensure stability under demanding conditions, it reveals the finest treble detail with clarity, speed and effortless precision.
1” pure diamond tweeter
3” pure diamond high midrange
The largest diamond driver we’ve ever used. Its increased surface area and extreme rigidity deliver astonishing resolution and control in the upper midrange. Diamond’s ideal stiffness-to-weight ratio eliminates breakup and distortion, while maintaining seamless integration with adjacent drivers. The result is fluid, lifelike presentation of vocals and instruments—with realism that stays true even at high dynamics.
3” pure diamond high midrange
7” pure beryllium midrange
This is the largest beryllium midrange driver ever created. Its low mass and high stiffness allow the diaphragm to move with absolute control, remaining pistonic across a wide frequency range. This minimises distortion and ensures lightning-fast transient response, even at high dynamics. The result is extraordinary resolution, lifelike timing, and an expressive, transparent midrange that captures the full nuance and emotion of the music.
7” pure beryllium midrange
8” Crystalid mid-bass
This driver uses Crystalid—a newly developed ceramic-based material that’s both lighter and stronger than traditional ceramics. It’s harder than any known processable metal in the world, yet remarkably light, allowing for lower moving mass and greater control. Special surface coatings reduce resonance and increase durability. The result is a fast, detailed low midrange that adds richness, precision and natural weight to the sound.
8” Crystalid mid-bass
10” Aluminium sandwich bass
This custom-designed woofer uses a layered aluminium sandwich construction that combines strength with low mass. The rigid outer skins suppress breakup modes, while the core material adds internal damping—allowing the diaphragm to move cleanly at high excursion. Engineered for precision and power, it delivers deep, controlled bass that anchors the music with clarity and authority.
10” Aluminium sandwich bass
10” Aluminium sandwich passive radiator
Tuned to extend low-frequency output, this passive radiator enhances bass depth and presence without introducing port noise. Sharing the same sandwich construction as the active drivers, it offers excellent stability and dynamic control. Working in harmony with the bass tower, it ensures seamless, distortion-free extension in the lowest octaves—reinforcing the scale and impact of the performance.

Challenge Everything.
Building Supreme Extreme meant starting from a blank page and asking harder questions. How can we optimise dynamics? Control resonance? Honour the music? The answer was clear: separate towers, each engineered with absolute precision to reveal the full emotional range of a performance.

X marks the spot
This is the moment it all aligns. Every element of Coltrane Supreme Extreme—crossover, isolators, structure and flow—is designed to meet here, in perfect harmony. It’s the point where distractions fade and the music lands exactly where it’s meant to be: right in front of you, fully alive.
FEATURES
Crossover
First order: 120Hz, 370Hz, 1000Hz, 4000Hz
The first-order crossover in Coltrane Supreme Extreme was developed from the ground up to match its dual-tower architecture.
Preserving perfect time and phase, it ensures every frequency arrives in absolute coherence—just as it was recorded. This design uses only the finest components: copper foil air-core coils, silver/oil and silver/gold capacitors, and custom resistors.
The result is a seamless, natural sound with deep control and authority across the full range, especially in the low end.
Crossover
Internal Wiring
Jorma Paragon is the flagship cable from Jorma—our most advanced internal wiring to date.
Handmade in Sweden, it features ultra-pure copper, separate conductors for signal integrity, and premium shielding to reduce noise.
Paired with our custom crossover, it forms a clean, direct signal path that preserves the full detail and dynamics of the recording. Chosen for its unmatched performance, it ensures Supreme Extreme delivers music with absolute clarity.
Internal Wiring
Marten Isolators
Developed in close collaboration with IsoAcoustics, these isolators are custom-designed to meet the exact weight, dimensions, and performance demands of Supreme Extreme.
They decouple the cabinet from the floor, dramatically reducing resonance, distortion, and internal reflections.
The result is greater clarity, deeper bass, and a more open soundstage. With improved lateral stability and vibration control, the speaker disappears—and the music takes centre stage.
Marten Isolators
