Leson Voyager Headshell
From R&D to Reality
Built on a year of R&D, this product refines the classic Technics design to meet the exacting standards of modern audiophiles.
Precision-machined from AZ31B magnesium blocks and featuring azimuth adjustment, this innovative headshell sits 1.5mm lower than the original, delivering a streamlined profile, superior performance, and effortless setup for your cherished turntable.
Benefits for Your System
Enhanced Channel Separation
Fine-tune azimuth for precise stylus-to-groove contact, delivering superior stereo imaging and detail.
Optimized Vertical Tracking Angle
A platform that's 1.5mm lower than typical Technics headshells means no shims or additional mat for achieving the perfect VTA.
Improved Stylus Control
The carefully positioned fingerlift at the rear lets you cue the stylus accurately while keeping one hand on the turntable for added stability.
Voyager Headshell Features
Azimuth Adjustment
Fine-tune azimuth to ensure the stylus contacts the record groove at the ideal angle, maximizing channel separation and minimizing tracking errors.
Refined Headshell Platform
Optimized for Precise VTA Adjustment
Designed with a 1.5mm lower platform than the original Technics headshell, addressing the common issue of excessive height. This improved geometry ensures you can achieve the correct Vertical Tracking Angle (VTA) without the need for additional shims or thicker platter mats. Additionally, features a longer platform, enabling new overhang possibilities for precise alignment with specific alignment geometries, such as Löfgren A (Baerwald).
Lightweight & Rigid
Weighing just 7.5 grams (without wires), strikes the perfect balance between strength, stiffness, and mass, all crucial for accurate sound reproduction.
Optimized Fingerlift Placement
Reduced Vibrations
Based on the results of the resonance simulations, the fingerlift has been strategically placed at the back of the headshell to position it in the zone with the lowest vibrational impact.
Enhanced Ergonomics
The back placement of the fingerlift makes it more convenient to cue the stylus precisely, keeping one hand on the deck for stability and control.
