This custom cable allows you to connect a headset to any headphone amp+DAC, and still use the microphone portion of your headset. No extra adapters are required.

Connecting to PS5

Your headset plugs into the female connector. Plug the male 3.5mm connector into your PS5 controller for the mic signal, then connect the larger 6.35mm (1/4in) connector to your headphone amp.

**Important** As a general reminder, be sure to connect your USB DAC to one of the rear USB ports of your PS5. The front USB ports are known to cause noise.

Connecting to PS4

This cable uses the CTIA pinout, making it compatible with PS5 controllers. Most PS4 controllers use the opposite wiring standard for the microphone signal, meaning you will need a CTIA/OMTP adapter.

Connecting to a PC / Laptop / Smartphone

You may also connect this cable to any CTIA headset jack on a computer or smartphone. This pinout is used by most headset jacks in North America.
