This kit contains all components necessary to build the Objective2 circuit board: all standard resistors, capacitors, jacks, connectors, ICs, and circuit board. No enclosure, batteries, or power adapter. Parts arrive individually packaged and labeled for your convenience. Soldering is required. All audio jacks are now black!

Enclosure and Power
To completely assemble your Objective2, you will also need an enclosure, volume knob, and AC adapter. The following default parts are offered separately, as many builders choose to customize the assembly to suit their needs:

• Aluminum Enclosure
• O2 Front Plate without AC Jack
• O2 Rear Plate for AC Jack
• 15VAC Power Adapter
• Aluminum Knob or Plastic Knob

You may optionally add 9V NiMH batteries and customize with different jacks as you desire. Components for optional modifications may be found in the DIY Objective2 and DIY ODAC categories. Please refer to documentation below for optional modifications:

Jan 2024: Please note the original Alps potentiometer is no longer stocked in North America! We will ship an original alternative for VR1, Alps RK09712200HA, which has a longer shaft. The Objective2 circuit board has two sets of pads at VR1, so be sure to mount RK09712200HA in the deeper (furthest back) position.
