Value for Money
88/100
The SR11 stands out for seamless streaming and broad app compatibility, turning Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, and local FLAC playback into a fuss-free experience. Audiophilepure also found macOS integration impressive, while the transport’s clean everyday performance makes it an easy-fit budget network hub for straightforward systems.
What Reviewers Are Saying
Pros
Seamless app integration with Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, and local FLAC playback.
Works especially well with macOS and redirects playback reliably to the SR11.
Delivers stable, trouble-free performance in a straightforward single-access-point network setup.
&
Cons
Can suffer frequent dropouts on a mesh network.
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 87/100
The single review points to a clean, reliable digital feed rather than a dramatically transformative one. The only direct sound-related issue mentioned is that network dropouts appeared on a mesh network, but the problem disappeared on a single access point, which suggests the transport itself can deliver stable playback when the network is straightforward.
Overall Sound
87/100
The review emphasizes smooth, trouble-free playback from common apps and local files, with no complaints about tonal glare, flatness, or loss of musical flow once the network setup was simplified. That supports a positive view of how the SR11 hands off music to a DAC, though the review stops short of describing it as especially revealing or exceptional.
Digital Signal Integrity
86/100
The SR11 had trouble on a mesh network, with frequent dropouts, but those issues vanished when the reviewer switched to a single access point. That points to decent real-world delivery in a simpler setup, while also showing some sensitivity to network complexity.
FEATURES USABILITY PERFORMANCE 95/100
Reviewers praise the SR11’s day-to-day ease of use very strongly. Apple Music integration is described as seamless, macOS use is called equally impressive, and the unit handled Spotify, YouTube, and Foobar2000 playback without fuss.
Streaming Software
96/100
The software and app experience are described in very upbeat terms: Apple Music was seamless, macOS integration was equally impressive, and the SR11 redirected playback cleanly from multiple sources. That kind of repeated ease-of-use praise suggests a very polished experience for a budget network transport.
Features Connectivity
92/100
The review specifically highlights broad compatibility with Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, and a local FLAC library through Foobar2000. That points to flexible, practical connectivity for everyday streaming use, even though the review does not dwell on the full port selection or advanced connection options.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
84/100
The review says little about chassis quality, internal construction, or long-term durability. The main practical takeaway is that the unit worked well enough once the network setup was simplified, but there is not much direct commentary on physical craftsmanship.
Value for Money
88/100
At around $100 to $120, the SR11 is presented as a very appealing entry-level network transport with unusually smooth software behavior for the money. The positive value case is tempered a little by the network dropouts on a mesh setup, but the overall impression is still that it offers a lot of convenience for the price.
