Entreq Primer Core Power Cable

The Primer Core Power Cable is hand-made in Sweden and built around our new Energy Reference System (ERS) and Corepoint technology. Designed to deliver clean, coherent mains power to your components, every Primer Core Power Cable is supplied with a Corepoint Power unit, tuned for high-current applications.

The Primer Core Power Cable is the entry point to Entreq’s new cable architecture, succeeding our Primer Pro Power Cable. It is designed around the same principle as Delphius – that a signal is shaped as much by the electromagnetic environment around the cable as by the conductor itself – and brings that approach to a wider range of systems.

At its core is the Energy Reference System (ERS) – a separately shielded reference wire that works in concert with the Corepoint Power unit supplied with every cable. Where a conventional drain wire carries induced noise away, ERS interacts with the electromagnetic field around the cable, with the Corepoint providing the stable reference point that allows it to do so. The result is mains power delivered to your equipment cleanly and coherently, free of much of the noise that compromises everything downstream.

The Primer Core Power Cable is constructed entirely by hand at our facility in Sweden. It uses copper conductors, a copper ERS wire and hook, cotton dielectric, and connectors customised to our exact specifications. A custom power plug and IEC connector terminate the cable, with regional plug variants available on request. The Corepoint Power unit is tuned specifically for high-current applications and connects to the ERS wire via spade connector.

Primer Core Power is supplied with a Corepoint Power unit. The cable terminates in a custom power plug – available in UK, Schuko, US and other regional variants – and a custom IEC connector. Standard length is 1.65m, custom lengths available on request; please contact your Entreq dealer for specifics relating to your system and country.

Every Corepoint unit can be taken further with the addition of an Entreq Max post. The Max range – Max T, Max S, Max Ti, Max Pa, Max Pl and the range-topping Max Supreme – allows the performance of the cable to be extended further, incrementally, as your system and needs change. Your investment in Primer Core is not a fixed decision; it is the start of an architecture that grows with your system.
