Our new Mat Black is crafted from a premium version of the material we select for our Precision Cloth Mats and delivers the same level of performance. It is striking yet subtle, with its satin black logo printed onto one face of beautifully smooth matt black cloth for a really 'stealth' look. Following on from the success of our 100-year Anniversary Mat from 2020, which was strictly limited to 100 examples, it is the only serious alternative to our classic maroon mat.

If replacing a thick rubber or felt mat, the stylus VTA (Vertical Tracking Angle) may need adjustment. If used with a Linn turntable, the process of 'clocking' the platter may be beneficial. The mat may be used either side uppermost with identical results.

Each mat comes packaged in a sustainably produced plain mailer, with the option of a presentation bag available at a modest price premium.

When you order, please bear in mind that the Collaro Audio Mat Black precision cloth turntable mat is a product that is entirely hand made in limited quantities and you should therefore allow around 10 working days for delivery - although we aim to fulfil your order in a shorter time frame. Upon delivery, the Mat Black may display slight rippling of the surface. If this has occurred, please lay the mat on a smooth flat surface (not the turntable platter) for 24 hours to allow the fibres to settle.
