We have designed a filter to eliminate a large part of the DC voltage in the electrical network. The circuit consists of a bridge rectifier and a few capacitors.

The filter circuitry is arranged on a small 66mm by 42mm board and mounted inside an insulated miniature plastic box.

The maximum input voltage of the filter is 240V, supporting a current of 6A. With these voltages and current values, we are within the limits of most toroidal transformers (750VA) that equip audio products on the market. The customer will only have to insert this filter in the power cable of the equipment.
