Argon Audio FORTE A5 WIFI
Uncompromised quality
The FORTE WIFI speakers offer a true hi-fi experience. With their advanced all-digital amplifier and a fully digital signal path with four separate channels for the tweeters and woofers, along with custom drivers with ultra-low distortion, these speakers deliver a sound experience rich in detail and fantastic dynamics to boot. The built-in amplifier delivers 4 x 80 clean, distortion-free watts, elevating the experience of both music and TV.
All-in-one: wireless stereo, tv sound, and turntables
With FORTE WIFI you can finally experience real stereo sound without compromising ease of use. The added Wi-Fi connectivity makes it easier than ever to stream your favourite tunes in the highest possible quality. Just connect the speakers to your Wi-Fi and you’re ready to rock. You can wake the speakers from standby, pick your favorite tunes and control the volume all directly from your device. No remote needed (even though the remote for these speakers is actually quite nice!)
For the movie buffs, the speakers also carry HDMI ARC support so you get real hi-fi sound from your TV. The speakers will automatically turn on and off with the TV and can be controlled by your TV remote. As if that weren't enough, there is also a phono input for your turntable, AUX and optical inputs for external sources, and a sub out for your subwoofer. They’re plug-and-play – all you need to do is find a power outlet and interconnect the speakers (power and speaker cables included).
Scandinavian heritage
Our speakers are made to be seen. Just like all our other products, the FORTE-series is designed and engineered in Denmark, which is honored in the speakers’ minimalist Scandinavian design. From the high-end lacquer finish to the magnetic front fabric grille – everything is meticulously chosen to ensure that these speakers don’t just add to your sound system, but also to your décor. Finally a speaker where the exterior is as stunning as its performance.

SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 90/100
Bass
91/100
Reviewers repeatedly praise unexpectedly deep, mature low end: "astonishingly mature potent bass" and Argon rate reach to 40Hz. There is some roll-off below ~30Hz on very subsonic content, but overall the 15cm/5" driver presentation delivers a big, controlled low end for its size.
Mid
89/100
Mids are described as "creamy midrange consistency" with correct timbral tracking and presence-region directness. Review notes clarity without fatigue—good vocal body and natural tonality even if not ultra-analytical.
Treble
87/100
Upper frequencies are smooth and non-nervy: "doesn't attempt any artificial highlights" and "upper treble gets a tad mellow." The treble is clean and undistorted, trading ultimate air/detail for a fatigue-free presentation.
Soundstage Imaging
91/100
Review highlights an "astonishingly broad and deep soundstage" with real depth and image extension beyond the cabinets. Imaging is spacious and well-layered for the form factor.
Dynamics
89/100
Dynamics are lively: upper-bass/lower-mid attacks are "quick, with gusto" and percussion sounds "naturally real." While not matching elite high-end headroom, the speakers show strong punch and stability across SPL for typical listening.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
90/100
Samples were "flawlessly finished", with solid cabinets (MDF) and multi-coat lacquer — reviewers call out a very good finish and smart industrial design. Overall fit-and-finish feels above entry-level.
Features Connectivity
93/100
Extensive wired and wireless connectivity: Wi‑Fi with AirPlay2/Google Cast/Spotify Connect/DTS Play‑Fi, Bluetooth (aptX/AAC/aptX HD noted), HDMI ARC, optical, RCA, MM phono and sub-out. The built-in Class D amps, 24/96 capability and remote/auto-power add strong system convenience.
Value for Money
94/100
Reviewers call the Forte A5 a "price/performance surprise" and a "bona fide price/performance disruptor" at the ~799 price point. Strong performance, features and finish relative to peers justify a very high value rating.
