The Andover SpinSub brings clean, even bass and compact low-end extension to the SpinBase system, reaching satisfyingly into the 40Hz region without audible breakup at moderate levels. Graig Neville found its controlled, balanced character a natural match for larger rooms, while adjustable crossover and level controls make tailoring the blend refreshingly straightforward.
Pros
Delivers clean, even bass extension with no noticeable distortion or breakup at moderately loud levels.
Integrates well with the SpinBase, adding satisfying low-end weight and a balanced character.
Simple crossover and volume adjustments make setup uncomplicated.

Cons
Bass is controlled rather than room-shaking, and may sound somewhat thin to listeners seeking maximum impact.

Dual 6.5" woofers in a vented enclosure with a stated 32Hz low end imply good extension for a compact unit, but 100W (peak) amplification and small driver size limit deep-room-filling output and headroom.
Dynamics
75/100
Vented design and dual drivers should give reasonable transient response for its size; limited amplifier power (100W peak) and compact drivers constrain slam and long-term headroom in demanding rooms.

Integration
72/100
Features that aid integration (adjustable 50-180Hz LPF, level control, automatic signal sensing) are present, but no review outcomes are provided about how it 'disappears' with mains or whether there is boom/overhang. Features ≠ Integration; add outcome evidence or lower Integration.
Build Quality

MDF enclosure with internal bracing and a heathered fabric grille suggests solid construction and finish options (white or black) suitable for furniture integration and durability.
Features Connectivity
80/100
IsoGroove feedback-elimination tech, adjustable LPF and level, automatic signal sensing, mini-jack input with adapter to RCA—good practical connectivity and controls for placement and source options. Passive baseline applied.
Value for Money
70/100
At $379 the SpinSub offers convenient features and decent compact performance, but price is moderate relative to driver size and amplifier rating; without reviewer praise calling it a 'no-brainer' value, score is conservative.
