Design and Build

Fourté is the pinnacle of in-ear monitor technology. With its entire design being made up of industry firsts, Fourté isn't just a four driver hybrid UIEM. The innovations of acoustically shaping micro-chambers, direct radiating drivers, and the single sound bore come together in our patented tia technology. Fourté is our first IEM to feature internally integrated patented apex technology. These along with its ergonomic shell, machined out of solid aluminum, have dictated our entire UIEM design language since its development in 2016.

The black anodized aluminum shell is topped off with a copper color anodized aluminum faceplate and a beautifully aged copper faceplate chip; each one developing a truly unique patina pattern making sure that no two Fourté are alike. Fourté's unique drivers, acoustic chambers, integrated apex technology and passive radiator all unite delivering an unrivaled sonic experience. The level of detail retrieval coupled with its "out-of-head" sound-stage and deep reaching bass reanimate well-recorded music; putting its resolving capabilities at the level of some of the worlds greatest audiophile systems.

Tubeless In-Ear Audio (tia)

Tubeless In-Ear Audio (tia) is a patented IEM design methodology that aims to reduce unwanted resonance and distortion for a transparent and lifelike sound signature. The tia system is comprised of three major elements: open balanced armature tia drivers, the tia single-bore design, and tia acoustic chambers. Fourté utilizes the complete Tia system; its four drivers radiate freely into the Tia bore with no obstructions to the drivers.

Air Pressure Exchange (Apex)

Air Pressure Exchange (Apex) is a patented vent that releases air pressure in a sealed ear canal all while retaining standard IEM levels of isolation; enabling music enthusiasts to listen more comfortably for longer. This venting alleviates listener fatigue and allows for a much more realistic soundstage. Apex is integrated in Fourté all the way down to the way the shell is milled, offering similar pressure release and isolation to our m20 module.

Complete Tia System

Rather than constricting the sound of the drivers by fitting a tube onto them, the complete Tia System reduces unwanted resonance and distortion by allowing the 9mm Dynamic Driver + Tia High Driver to radiate freely into the single large Tia bore with no obstructions to the front of the drivers.

Apex Core

Apex Core is a deeper understanding of air movement within an earphone system. The faceplate features a striking perforated grill that leaves the shell of the IEM open to the outside atmosphere for a less obstructed airflow resulting in an effortless reproduction of music and minimal physical fatigue.

Wave Sync

Due to the high crossover point between the two drivers, Wave Sync was developed to ensure coherence; another industry first. By using a type of "all-pass" filter, we're able to introduce a crossover while correcting for time without having to change the physical distance between the drivers.
