The source is the first power cable in the Yeti line-up in which other material is used. Instead of stranded tinned copper, stranded silver-plated copper is used and you can clearly hear that.

In the corridors we sometimes jokingly call this cable the 'Mini-Reference' since the Reference uses the same material but of course in a different composition and quantity.

Compared to the affordable tinned copper cables, The Source goes a big step further in spaciousness and detail while maintaining the neutral and musical character of the aforementioned cables.
