Tube Center Preamp with integrated MM/MC Phono stage is a masterpiece of ThivanLabs’s hand-crafted preamp series. It is a premium two-piece preamp developed for the best audio experience and flexible usability – main chassis and separate power supply – connected by a dedicated cable attached to the main chassis. The modularization of the phono amplifier and line amplifier section realizes advantages of both hand-wiring and shortest signal paths comparable to PCB.

The Tube Center Preamp TCP-5 offers an all-tube signal path from input to output, employing only dedicated Audio-Triodes and a power supply with a built-in isolation transformer. Magnetic flux leakage influence is eliminated by separated main and power supply chassis. Exclusive toroidal transformer is mounted in the power supply chassis, fully separated from unwanted interference. Furthermore, the low impedance power supply circuit consists of chokes and oil capacitors (PIO), making reproduction of good presence and sound texture possible.

It accepts 2 Phono (1 MM RIAA phono and 1 MC Phono with MC step up transformer) and 3 line level inputs (2 RCA and 1 XLR). Outputs are fully balanced on XLR or single ended on RCA. Almost every type of record pressings (vintage or most up-to-date, Mono or Stereo) can be compensated easily, rapidly and correctly. And the TCP-5 can be used with virtually any phonograph cartridge and is capable of driving nearly every tube- or transistor-power amplifier, for accurate, dynamic music reproduction. Thanks to point-to-point assembling, the TCP-5 provides long living products in superior quality, engineering and performance.
