The amp’s design has a typical Bauhaus shape and construction that we’ve defined for ThivanLabs products. This design school emphasizes functionality and minimalism, creating a luxurious look, and therefore it easily matches many listening room interior styles as well as harmoniously combined with other equipment. The combination of wood and metal with light color as well as square lines bring contrast and strong shapes to the device.

This model features typical Thivanlabs electronic engineering design with the use of super-heavy output transformers (OPTs) and extra-large paper-in-oil capacitors (PIOs). Each OPT of the 211 SE Power Monoblock weighs up to 11 kgs. Eight super large PIOs are used for the two channels. In addition, the power supply chokes in the amps are also super large. These solutions help to provide high efficiency, abundant power to the driver tubes and get very low noise. All of our amps work in Class A and Zero Feedback. A great advantage of our amplifiers is that users can directly replace the amp’s tubes with corresponding tubes of other brands without having to calibrate the amp thanks to Auto bias mode.

The 211 Power Monoblock drives well with low-sensitivity speakers thanks to its 56W peak (28W RMS) output. This amp is not picky about the preamp to pair with, so it will be a great convenience for users when it can be combined with a variety of other preamps. In which, we recommend pairing with ThivanLabs preamps to combine the most optimal valve sound characteristics. As a goal throughout our product research and development, the amplifiers manufactured by ThivanLabs are all optimized to drive the best ThivanLabs loudspeaker models. That is the naturalness, fidelity to the original sound of recordings or live performance. This sound standard has been tested by us through a variety of methods, in which we focus on the live music experience as well as the experiments in the field of live recording and studio recording to learn the nature of the original sound and the accuracy of reproduced sound.
