TDA1541 DAC with 45 DHT Output Stage & Signal Output Transformers

Similar to the DAC III Balanced & the DAC IV, DAC V is Signal Output Transformer (OPT) de-coupled yet is amplified by Directly Heated Triodes and powered by Directly Heated Valve Rectified Quasi Dual Mono Power Supply. The Signal Output Transformer (OPT) de-coupling of the Directly Heated Valve Output Stage is the closest approximation to a truly “invisible” sounding R2R DAC.

All our top tier DACs are based on the legendary Philips TDA1541 DAC. The implementation in SW1X DAC V unleashes an unparalleled potential of TDA1541, challenging every modern production DAC and converting the digital to highest quality of analogue signal.
