THE REAR PANEL
The Gravis VI subwoofer offers versatile connectivity, accommodating both high-level and low-level signals. The high-level input employs a Speakon© 4-pin connector, while the line-level signals can be transmitted via balanced or unbalanced cables.
SPEAKER UNIT
Gravis VI features a potent 12” (305mm) long-stroke driver equipped with a Trilaminated sandwich cone diaphragm. This diaphragm is constructed from two layers of woven synthetic fibers (Fiberglass) with a nomex honeycomb layer in between, enabling precise control of driver excursion and resistance flexing. The cone's remarkable blend of stiffness and lightweight design ensures that Gravis VI delivers both massive air movement and precise articulation.
WIRELESS PAIRING
Gravis VI can be wirelessly paired by using the Gravis Transmitter. The Gravis Transmitter transmits signals in wireless mode to the Gravis VI active subwoofer, with maximum versatility in a compact form that is easy to integrate into any listening environment.
DEDICATED APP
The Gravis VI is fully controllable through dedicated, user-friendly app. Available for iOS and Android systems, this app makes the subwoofers simple to configure and use.

The Gravis VI pairs dual long-throw drivers and 1,700W Class AB power with unusually deep claimed extension, while app-based tuning invites serious room optimization. Audiophilepure found its Streaming Mode meaningfully reshapes the balance, adding mid-bass weight around 50Hz for a fuller, more tailored presentation. It is a feature-rich flagship subwoofer with precision-minded flexibility.
What Reviewers Are Saying
Pros
Streaming Mode provides a clearly distinct voicing, adding useful fullness around 50Hz.
&
Cons
No dedicated measurement microphone is included, limiting calibration precision compared with a proper external mic.
Three of the four EQ presets have only subtle tonal differences, reducing their practical usefulness.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Bass
53/100
The review identifies a meaningful tonal difference in Streaming Mode, which adds a boost around 50 Hz and rolls off more steeply below 30 Hz. It offers no broader listening assessment of low-bass extension, texture, control, or output authority.
Integration
50/100
The reviewer says the tonal differences among three of the four presets are so subtle that moving one's head can create larger perceived shifts. There is no direct report of seamless blending with main speakers, localization, boom, or overhang; Features ≠ Integration; add outcome evidence or lower Integration.
Dynamics
50/100
The review does not describe transient punch, large-scale impact, headroom, or behavior at demanding playback levels. Its comments focus on preset voicing rather than dynamic performance.
Build Quality
50/100
The review says little about cabinet integrity, finish quality, driver durability, or amplifier reliability. It does not provide a hands-on assessment of the Gravis VI's construction.
Features Usability
72/100
The Gravis VI offers app-based adjustment and four EQ presets, but the reviewer finds the preset differences largely too subtle to be especially useful. They also criticize the absence of an included measurement microphone, particularly at this level, since it would improve calibration over a smartphone's built-in mic.
Value for Money
80/100
At a stated price range of $6,950-$8,250, the reviewer feels the Gravis VI omits niceties they expect from a subwoofer of this caliber. The missing measurement microphone and limited distinction between most presets make the premium harder to justify, though the review does not directly compare its performance with competing subwoofers.
