THE REAR PANEL
The Gravis VI subwoofer offers versatile connectivity, accommodating both high-level and low-level signals. The high-level input employs a Speakon© 4-pin connector, while the line-level signals can be transmitted via balanced or unbalanced cables.
SPEAKER UNIT
Gravis VI features a potent 12” (305mm) long-stroke driver equipped with a Trilaminated sandwich cone diaphragm. This diaphragm is constructed from two layers of woven synthetic fibers (Fiberglass) with a nomex honeycomb layer in between, enabling precise control of driver excursion and resistance flexing. The cone's remarkable blend of stiffness and lightweight design ensures that Gravis VI delivers both massive air movement and precise articulation.
WIRELESS PAIRING
Gravis VI can be wirelessly paired by using the Gravis Transmitter. The Gravis Transmitter transmits signals in wireless mode to the Gravis VI active subwoofer, with maximum versatility in a compact form that is easy to integrate into any listening environment.
DEDICATED APP
The Gravis VI is fully controllable through dedicated, user-friendly app. Available for iOS and Android systems, this app makes the subwoofers simple to configure and use.

The Gravis VI delivers commanding, taut low-frequency performance with sealed, twin long-throw drivers and 1700W Class AB power for controlled, deep extension and strong transient slam. Its luxurious cabinet and comprehensive app-based tuning (crossover, phase, PEQ) let it integrate tightly with systems, while reviewers like Audiophilepure highlighted its muscular bass and refined dynamics.
Pros
- Deep, controlled bass extension and strong slam from twin 320 mm long-throw drivers and 1700 W Class AB amplification.
- Premium build and hefty, well-finished cabinet that supports low-frequency clarity and cabinet rigidity.
- Feature-rich integration: app control, continuously adjustable crossover, phase, delay and up to eight PEQ filters for precise system matching.
&
Cons
- No bundled measurement microphone for calibration, which reviewers felt was an omission at this price point.
- Multiple EQ presets show only subtle differences—only the Streaming Mode yields a notably different response.
Sound Quality
90/100
Bass
91/100
The Gravis VI is a sealed, twin 320 mm-driver active sub with 1700 W RMS and a quoted acoustic response down to ~18 Hz (-6 dB), which supports deep, controlled extension. The review notes only modest preset differences below 30 Hz but highlights a boost around 50 Hz in Streaming Mode, supporting very capable low-frequency output and control for a sealed design.
Dynamics
88/100
High-performance Class AB amplification (1700 W RMS, 2400 W peak) and long-throw drivers imply excellent headroom, slam and transient control for a sealed sub. The review's comments about subtle tonal changes suggest good control and lack of obvious compression, supporting a high dynamics score.

Integration
82/100
The unit offers comprehensive app control, continuously adjustable crossover, phase, delay and up to 8 PEQ filters, all tools that facilitate integration; the reviewer also notes multiple presets. Features ≠ Integration; add outcome evidence or lower Integration. The review does not provide explicit outcome language (e.g., 'seamless blend' or 'disappears'), so the score reflects strong tools but limited published outcome evidence.
Build Quality
90/100
Heavy, well-finished cabinet (high-gloss wood, leather, aluminum) and substantial mass (52 kg) indicate solid construction and cabinet rigidity. The reviewer did not call out build or finish problems and expected high-end niceties, so physical build quality appears excellent.
Features Connectivity
86/100
Comprehensive I/O (balanced XLR, RCA left/right/LFE, Neutrik high-level Speakon), app control with presets, adjustable crossover, phase, delay and up to eight PEQ filters plus automatic room calibration make this feature-rich. The reviewer specifically wished for an included measurement mic and noted limited preset variety, which slightly tempers the score.
Value for Money
75/100
At the listed ~€8,250 price, the sub is clearly premium; reviewers praise performance but explicitly state that 'taking that price into consideration, the Gravis VI lacks a few niceties that I think it deserves' and complain about missing bundled measurement mic and limited preset differentiation, reducing perceived value.
