CBS-Hytron was a high quality USA tube manufacturer, yet their production numbers were much smaller than the big name vacuum tube brands such as RCA, Sylvania, GE, etc. The CBS Hytron construction is easy to identify: Clear Top design, Black Plates, the famous hole in the plastic key pin, and the getter shaped like a `square D`.
