KEF LS60 Wireless pairs holographic imaging with deep, tightly controlled bass in an exceptionally slim, fully active streaming system. SoundStage Solo found its presentation seamless, dynamic and convincingly full-range, while What Hi-Fi? praised its focused, immersive stereo precision. HDMI eARC, extensive streaming and room-tuning DSP make this an elegant high-end hub for music and TV.
What Reviewers Are Saying
Pros
Exceptionally cohesive, expansive imaging with precise, speaker-disappearing placement.
Deep, powerful bass remains taut and well controlled for such slim floorstanders.
Comprehensive all-in-one functionality, including streaming, HDMI eARC, analogue and digital inputs, plus app-based room tuning.
&
Cons
No full room-correction platform is included.
Very large rooms or sustained near-concert levels can expose output limits; subwoofers may help with the deepest bass.
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 94/100
Reviewers consistently describe an exceptionally coherent, natural and controlled presentation, combining full-range authority with a notably spacious, speaker-disappearing image. Its strongest virtues are the integration of the drivers, deep yet disciplined bass, lifelike voices and a presentation that remains involving across music and television use.
Bass
94/100
Multiple reviewers found the bass remarkably deep, powerful and tightly controlled for such slim cabinets. SoundStage heard explosive but well-contained hip-hop drums and excellent pitch definition, while StereoNET praised the deep, tuneful low end; however, reviewers note that very large rooms, extreme levels, organ-heavy music or electronic bass may benefit from subwoofers.
Mid
94/100
Vocals are repeatedly described as natural, embodied and timbrally convincing. SoundStage found male and female voices spot-on, with clear separation between singers, while StereoNET and What Hi-Fi praised the smooth, detailed midrange and realistic instrumental timbre.
Treble
92/100
The top end is widely heard as clean, refined and free of glare rather than aggressively spotlighted. StereoNET found plenty of detail and air without etched lower-treble emphasis, and SoundStage reported fast transients with no heat on consonants; Darko Audio notes that listeners seeking an especially airy or overtly present top octave may want more.
Soundstage Imaging
96/100
This is one of the LS60 Wireless's most celebrated qualities. Reviewers describe images detached from the cabinets, broad and deep staging, holographic focus and unusually convincing performance beyond the central seat; What Hi-Fi calls the stereo image immersive and highly precise.
Dynamics
93/100
Reviewers praise fast transients, strong rhythmic drive and large-scale swings delivered without congestion at normal and loud listening levels. SoundStage called dynamics outstanding, though Erin's measurements and HiFi News's listening suggest output protection or mild compression can become apparent only at very extreme volumes.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
91/100
The exceptionally slim, heavy, monolithic enclosures and substantial base plates make a strong visual and physical impression. Reviewers also highlight the force-cancelling woofer arrangement and low cabinet vibration, although there is little long-term ownership evidence about durability.
Value for Money
90/100
At roughly $6,999/£5,999 per pair, the LS60 Wireless is plainly a premium purchase, and What Hi-Fi explicitly notes the high price. Still, reviewers see compelling value in its combination of amplification, streaming, HDMI eARC, room adjustment and unusually high sonic performance: HiFi News considers it an accessible route to something Blade-like, while Darko calls it among the best bang-for-buck options below $10,000.
