Seamlessly blending the celebrated cabinet finery of traditional loudspeakers alongside the cutting-edge audio engineering of Dr Paul Mills, the Vintage Ten is a triumph of bold, no-compromise design. While still a sizeable cabinet, the handcrafted enclosures of the Vintage Ten are kept relatively slim to allow easy visual integration into small and medium sized listening rooms. Yet with ‘no compromise’ as the theme across the range, the Vintage Ten comes with all the audio advancements of its larger siblings, including a 250mm (10”) IsoFlare driver featuring a FyneFlute roll surround, state-of-the art BassTrax downwards-firing port system and premium, hand-built Deep Cryogenically Treated crossovers. With  Presence and HF Energy controls to further tailor the sound to the listening environment, the Vintage Ten is the most room-agnostic floorstanding loudspeaker in the Vintage Series.

Deliciously Crispy

The Vintage Ten delivers a startlingly dynamic presentation with deep, controlled tight bass and a remarkably open midrange, thanks to its 250mm IsoFlare driver and BassTrax Tractrix diffuser. Treble is refined and detailed, imaging is spacious and focused, and build quality is furniture-like — reviewers such as The Ear praised its energy and clarity.

The Ear

"The Fyne Audio Vintage 10 certainly won me over with its many charms. It was fast, dynamic, energetic, fun, well balanced, detailed and allowed me to listen into the music to hear what each individual musician was doing."

Pros

  • Fast, energetic delivery that preserves rhythm and transient punch.
  • Weighty, well-controlled low end with deep extension supported by the 250mm IsoFlare driver and BassTrax diffuser.
  • Open, coherent midrange and precise imaging from the point-source IsoFlare design and low 750Hz crossover.
  • High-quality, furniture-like construction with birch ply cabinet and solid walnut trim.

&

Cons

  • High price relative to mass-market alternatives, noted by reviewers as a purchase consideration.
  • Passive-only baseline and limited built-in connectivity/features compared with active or networked speakers.

Sound Quality

93/100

Bass

93/100

Reviewer described weighty, tuneful low end, deep focused double-bass and a driving bass line; spec shows a 250mm IsoFlare driver and -6dB in-room down to 26Hz, supporting strong low-frequency extension and control.

Mid

93/100

Reviewer noted open, expressive vocals and detailed midrange; low crossover (750Hz) and point-source IsoFlare design deliver coherent, revealing midband performance without obvious coloration.

Treble

94/100

Cymbals described as delicate and piano more open; super-tweeter option removed harsh glare and treble is detailed and refined with no sibilance reported.

Soundstage Imaging

93/100

Reviewer reported a very open soundstage with good separation and focus; BassTrax Tractrix diffuser and IsoFlare point-source behavior contributed to spacious, well-defined imaging and less critical placement.

Dynamics

93/100

Described as fast, dynamic and energetic; drums were tight and explosive and the speakers conveyed rhythm, slam and transient speed very effectively.

Build Quality

94/100

Extensive internal bracing, birch ply cabinet with oiled walnut and solid walnut trim; reviewer called the finish and feel high-quality and furniture-like.

Features Connectivity

80/100

Passive baseline applied. Bi-wired passive low-loss crossover, +/-3dB HF and presence trims, and removable/positioned super-tweeter options documented, but treated within passive tower bounds.

Value for Money

80/100

High price (listed 24,499) but reviewers called them worth the outlay and noted added value from super-tweeters; expensive yet competitively finished and performing for the segment.
