The system consists of two parts. The FR35 bookshelf monitor PLUS the FR20 IsoActive Bass Module EQUALS the FR2035 IsoActive System. Both loudspeakers are powered by the cutting edge amplifier in the FR20 bass module.
The solo FR35 bookshelf monitor provides musical reproduction that delivers outstanding sound quality in full colour. Improving on this perfection in sound is difficult except when it ratchets up a notch into an FR2035 IsoActive System. Then you have a sound system offering exquisite expressiveness with a soundstage illuminated with great depth and dimension. In any sized room, the sound is remarkably transparent, finely detailed and textured with wonderful instrument placement. Of course the bass extension and weight improves considerably offering incredibly lifelike performance.
Dellichord FR2035 – Years in the making.
A clean sheet of paper design taking more than a year from concept to first production, the FR2035 system provides a small foot print with big sound that will fit easily into almost any space. This system delivers a forthright, extended and controlled bass. Like our award winning FR6, the technology of an isobaric bass design extractd the maximum performance from the smallest enclosure possible. So narrow is the cabinet that we had to invent the ‘OctoBaffle’ to allow fitment of our external 10 inch bass unit.

With assistance from the built in high power digital signal processing amplifier we have ‘polished’ the performance of the FR35 bookshelf monitor. The output of the FR35 blends seamlessly with the thunderous twin 265mm isobaric bass units contained in the FR20 bass module.
The FR35 internal passive crossover is still ‘in-circuit’ when used as part of a FR2035 system. The visible jumper cables deliver power from the FR20 to the same terminals on the FR35 as used when enjoying them ‘solo’.
Considerable thought and design has been applied to the controlling vibration when constructing such a high power loudspeaker system. Braces in the bass enclosure control panel resonances. Visco-elastically isolated baffles in the FR35 make sure any enclosure resonances are not excited by the vibration from the mid bass driver. The isolation pad between the FR35 and FR20 further reduces any vibration being fed into the delicate signal produced by the smaller loudspeaker. This significant reduction in enclosure ‘noise’ assists greatly with the dynamics and openness that this exceptional loudspeaker system offers.
