Tangent completed a major overhaul of its Spectrum loudspeaker line in late 2025, and now the range welcomes its latest addition: the Tangent Spectrum II X5 Active BT.

Building on the multi‑award‑winning first‑generation model, the new Spectrum II X5 Active BT has been refined across every detail — from design and features to construction and acoustic performance.

Combining elegant Scandinavian styling with effortless usability and high‑fidelity sound, the Spectrum II X5 Active BT delivers a complete audio solution. Its integrated 2 × 50 W Class D amplification removes the need for an external amplifier, creating a true all‑in‑one hi‑fi system that fits seamlessly into any living space. A 130 mm cellulose‑pulp mid‑bass driver and 25 mm soft‑dome tweeter work together to produce a balanced, dynamic, and natural soundstage, with precise bass, expressive vocals, and refined, transparent high frequencies.

Designed as the hub of a modern home audio setup, the Spectrum II X5 Active BT offers extensive connectivity. Bluetooth 5.3 with AptX HD enables high‑quality wireless streaming, while vinyl enthusiasts will appreciate the built‑in Phono MM input for direct turntable connection. HDMI ARC ensures simple integration with a television, delivering a dramatic upgrade over standard TV speakers for films, series, concerts and gaming.
