A Vision for the Future

The Clipper cartridge exemplifies JICO’s decades of craftsmanship. Designed to outperform standard MM cartridges, the Clipper offers superior audio fidelity and compatibility with JICO’s N44-7 and N44G styli, in addition to its exclusive CRCP/MK1 stylus. The cartridge’s unique design balances the centre of gravity between the left and right channels, while its Tapered-S Cantilever ensures accurate vibration reproduction, creating a truly immersive hi-fi soundstage.

The Clipper also features on the new limited-edition KORG handytraxx tube J portable record player, a partnership that ensures an elevated listening experience for vinyl lovers on the move.

World's First Dual Fitting Model

One of the Clipper’s standout innovations is its dual fitting capability. Designed for optimal performance with its dedicated stylus, the cartridge is also compatible with SHURE 44-series replacement needles, including JICO’s ND (Nude Diamond), SD (Synthetic Diamond), MORITA (Wood Cantilever), and SAS models, as well as vintage SHURE styli. This unique flexibility makes it the perfect choice for vinyl enthusiasts and professional DJs who wish to experiment with different stylus types to tailor their listening experience. 

Tapered S-Cantilever for Enhanced Performance

The Clipper features the world’s first Tapered S-Cantilever, an innovation inspired by designs from AUDIO EMPIRE and SWING record needles. The tapered structure reduces mass at the tip, allowing for more accurate vibration transmission, resulting in richer, more dynamic sound reproduction. After extensive testing, JICO selected a solid natural diamond (ND) conical tip, which excels in mid-to-high frequency clarity.

A Timeless Yet Modern Design

Balancing aesthetics and functionality, the Clipper features a glossy black UVCRM resin body, carefully crafted for long-term durability and performance. The ApexGlide Headshell finger lift, designed with sleek aerodynamics reminiscent of an airliner’s tail fin, adds a touch of style while ensuring ease of use.
