Saul Marantz , the visionary behind Marantz, was a pioneer in the world of Hi-Fi audio. In the early 1950s, unable to find a home music system that met his high standards, Marantz designed a groundbreaking pre-amplifier called the Audio Consolette, marking the birth of a new era in sound reproduction. In 1953, Marantz’s passion project evolved into the Marantz Audio Company, founded from his home in New York. Over the decades, the company has expanded globally, while maintaining Saul Marantz’s original commitment to high-fidelity sound. Today, Marantz products are expertly engineered and tuned by a team of seasoned professionals in Japan, continuing the legacy of bringing listeners closer to their music. Marantz’s journey, from the initial 100 units of the Audio Consolette to its status as a leading audio brand, reflects an enduring dedication to quality and innovation in sound.
