YG Acoustics Invincible 21.2
Our Reference range demonstrates the very best that can be achieved in accuracy and musicality. We are honored that these models are some of the most awarded loudspeakers in the world.
lnvincible is the world’s first hyper-high-end sub-bass speaker, created to solve a specific problem. Namely that owners of the world’s finest flagship speakers often feel that adding a subwoofer to their system causes more drawbacks than improvements.
By pushing the conventional boundaries of possibility, YG Acoustics incorporated proprietary, leading-edge technology to devise a no-holds-barred assault on everything deemed possible in the sub-bass realm.
Invincible introduces the largest BilletCore driver yet. Machined in-house from a massive, 30 kg (66 lbs) slab of aircraft-grade aluminum, this cone measures 53 cm (21”) in diameter. The basket, also machined in-house, is precisely assembled from 238 parts using laboratory-grade alignment and tolerances.
The Reference speakers are structured from high-grade aerospace aluminum, machined in-house to an incredible precision and hand-built by experts in our Colorado and Cambridge workshops. Like our flagship XV, multi-layer construction provides an ideal platform for the driver. A sealed box enclosure eliminates port-issues and the associated timing issues.
The single driver Invincible 21.1 can be upgraded to an Invincible 21.2, sporting dual, opposing-yet-tilted drivers. This combines the freedom from vibration of a push-push setup, with the ease of room-integration typically associated with front-firing subwoofers.
A dedicated, built-in amplifier boasts up to 6 kW of RMS power for unrestricted dynamics. The DSP crossover has been tuned on the basis of extensive simulation and listening tests. It offers extensive options for matching with most high-end speakers, but when coupled with a YG Acoustics speaker, the guesswork is eliminated: lnvincible is programmed for precise matching with YG Acoustics speakers.

YG Acoustics' Invincible 21.2 delivers authoritative, ultra-deep bass with truly full output below 20 Hz, pairing dual 21" BilletCore drivers and a 6,000 W amplifier for towering dynamics. Reviewers from Audiophil-Online and Audioholics praise its precise sub-bass extension, CNC billet cabinet and advanced DSP crossover that eases room blending while retaining tight, controlled impact.
Pros
- Extends very deep with usable, authoritative output down below 20 Hz (usable below ~15 Hz), delivering true sub-bass authority.
- Huge dynamics and headroom from dual 21" BilletCore drivers plus a custom Class D amplifier (up to 6,000 W) produce controlled, impactful bass.
- Precision build: CNC-machined solid-aluminum billet cabinet with a 'box-within-a-box' layout and focused vibration control minimizes enclosure artefacts.
- Advanced DSP crossover with pre-programmed YG presets and extensive third-party matching options simplifies integration and preserves timing.
&
Cons
- Extremely high price (MSRP cited around $100,000) makes value-for-money limited for most buyers.
- Practical installation challenges: very heavy and large footprint, and full 6,000 W output requires a 230 V hookup (special electrical provision).

Bass
92/100
Review describes 'truly full output (-0 dB), even anechoically, to below 20 Hz' with usable output below 15 Hz, plus dual 21" BilletCore drivers and up to 6,000 W of amplification. These specifications and reviewer statements support exceptional extension, control and authority, but no multi-review, reference-class comparison was provided, so the score is capped below the 95+ reference threshold.
Dynamics
93/100
Review cites a custom Class D amplifier up to 6,000 W, dual-opposing push-push driver layout and manufacturer claim of 'quick reaction-time' and 'tight, punchy bass.' The hardware and reviewer outcome language point to excellent macro and micro dynamics with strong headroom.

Integration
94/100
The review explicitly states the DSP-based crossover 'allows it to blend with most high-end speakers' and that the driver tilt 'improves the ease of room-integration.' Those outcome phrases indicate the subwoofer achieves a high level of seamless blending in practice rather than merely offering tools.
Build Quality
94/100
Cabinet is CNC-machined from solid aluminum billet with a 'box within a box' design, Focused Elimination geometry and dual CNC-machined 21" aluminum cones; the unit weighs 462 lb. The review highlights premium construction and vibration-control engineering throughout.
Features Connectivity
92/100
Advanced DSP-based crossover inspired by DualCoherent, pre-programmed speaker matches and extensive third-party matching options are reported. The system offers powerful setup tools and flexibility, though full amplifier power requires 230 V AC which affects installation practicality.
Value for Money
65/100
The review lists an MSRP of roughly $100,000 (title: 'Costs $100k?!?'), and does not call the product a clear 'no-brainer' or 'best in class' on a value basis. Exceptional performance and build are tempered by an extremely high price, yielding modest value relative to cost.
