Other acoustical panels are large, cover lots of wall space and are prone to overdamp the space in the treble range to create a hollow, unnatural sound. Worse yet, they are usually not properly fiber-sealed, leading to potential irritation and eventual degradation of equipment.

The SoundPlank’s slim design and ‘grid’ layout have a larger impact than an individual unit. The “edge effect” substantially improves the sound absorption characteristics. Don’t be fooled by the “value” of larger panels from competitors! The total is greater than the sum of the parts.
