What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 84/100
Reviews describe a smooth, vocal-neutral presentation with tasteful sub-bass and a generally clean, low-fatigue balance. Its strongest traits are coherent dynamics and agreeable tuning, while ultimate detail retrieval, separation, and spatial scale are more limited; the impedance adapter is reported to substantially improve the bass balance and overall blend.
Bass
88/100
Tone Deaf Monk found the sub-bass tastefully judged, with sufficient mid-bass weight and no vocal muddiness. Fresh Reviews considered bass reduced in the stock configuration, but says the included impedance adapter brings it close to the original ZERO's bass level and improves the presentation.
Midrange
85/100
Vocals are described as a central strength: vocal-centric but not overly projected ahead of instruments, bass, or treble. Fresh Reviews also found the mids clearer, although the stock tuning was said to let the bass and mids meld together too much.
Treble
84/100
The upper range is regarded as smooth and controlled, with less shoutiness than the original and somewhat improved high-frequency clarity. Extension and air are not described as class-leading, though Tone Deaf Monk found there was ample treble energy with the supplied wide-bore tips.
Resolution Separation
82/100
Fresh Reviews heard strong separation for gaming with the impedance adapter, calling the result clean and smooth. Tone Deaf Monk did not find it exceptional for microdetail, macrodetail, or instrument separation, and Fresh Reviews found the stock tuning too blended for rapid competitive decisions.
Soundstage Imaging
80/100
Imaging can be strong and comparable to the original ZERO in the more favorable setup, but depth perception is said to trail it. Tone Deaf Monk found the stage modest and largely in-head, while Fresh Reviews felt the stock configuration could become too diffuse and mushy for dependable positional information.
Dynamics Coherence
87/100
Tone Deaf Monk praised both micro- and macro-dynamic contrast, saying quiet-to-loud shifts add excitement effectively. Fresh Reviews also noted lower resonance and less shoutiness on bass-heavy effects, although the stock tuning was criticized for blending bass and mids together.
FIT COMFORT ISOLATION PERFORMANCE 81/100
Fit feedback is limited but positive from the reviewer who used the Tri tips, reporting a secure fit with full bass and treble intact. There is little direct discussion of long-session comfort or passive noise reduction, so prospective owners should pay close attention to tip choice and personal ear anatomy.
Seal Stability
83/100
Tone Deaf Monk reported that the Tri tips worked exceptionally well, delivering a great fit with no issues. That reviewer also retained plentiful bass and treble, suggesting a successful seal, but broader fit evidence is limited.
Comfort
84/100
The available fit report is favorable, with no comfort problem raised after using the Tri tips. The reviews do not provide meaningful detail on shell pressure, nozzle comfort, or extended-session wear.
Isolation
75/100
None of the supplied reviews directly assess passive isolation in daily use or noisy environments. The available comments focus on fit and sound balance rather than outside-noise attenuation.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Accessories
84/100
Tone Deaf Monk characterizes the ZERO:RED as notably durable, saying it can withstand substantial abuse without failing. The included impedance adapter is particularly useful because Fresh Reviews found that it changes the tuning dramatically for the better, though the reviews offer little detail about cable, connectors, case, or long-term finish quality.
Value for Money
91/100
At $64.99, Fresh Reviews calls both ZERO variants extremely good options for listeners on a budget. The included impedance adapter adds practical value because it provides a notably different and, in that reviewer's view, better-balanced tuning option.

Adopt dual polyurethane suspension composite liquid-crystal dome diaphragm N52 Rubidium magnet double-cavity internal magnetic circuit dynamic driver
Adopt dual polyurethane suspension composite liquid-crystal dome diaphragm N52 Rubidium magnet double-cavity internal magnetic circuit dynamic driver
Using a DLP-3D printing cavity, usually reserved for high-end multi-drivers products and custom earphones, and the hand-made glue dropping and capping process
Equipped with copper-plated silver cable with thicker diameter of single strand
Deliver outstanding objective indicators
Efficient Rational Driver Configuration
ZERO:RED houses double dynamic driver configuration, with a diameter of 10mm and the other diameter of 7.8mm, the mature internal magnetic circuit structure co-worked with flexible polyurethane suspension composite LCP liquid crystal dome diaphragm, but it has total different inner configuration between standard ZERO, which makes RED offer a better objective indicators while meeting the needs of R&D.
The same idea of frequency division is combined with completely different dynamic driver to form a brand-new system, in which the 7.8mm dynamic driver responsible for mids and treble uses a specially adjusted ultra-fine CCAW voice coil, which keeps the vibration system lightweight and makes sure the resonance frequency closer to the target curve and a smoother response. The 10mm dynamic driver responsible for bass accurately adjusts the number of the voice coil to meet the needs of the new frequency division circuit; At the same time, the diaphragm structure is adjusted, which makes the objective measurements such as nonlinear distortion significantly improved and has better bass response.
Accurate Hybrid Double Frequency Division
Relying on the high-precision DLP-3D printing technology, the acoustic nozzle structure with filtering function and the accurately calculated RC frequency division form a hybrid double frequency division, which makes the two dynamic drivers perform respectively, offering the closer design goal of objective indicators.
Excellent Objective Indicators
The R&D target of RED acquires totally new from TRUTHEAR, based on the original excellent objective index of ZERO, the nonlinear distortion of RED is further optimized at higher sound pressure level (>94dB), and its frequency response target curve has bass amplitude response characteristics similar to the public preference curve, while the target curve of CRINACLE IEF_Neutral is adopted in the frequency band above 1000Hz.
This characteristics provides a punchiest bass without affecting the sound of higher frequency bands; Compared with ZERO, RED is relatively less in dynamic, but still conforms to the characteristics of HRTF, which makes RED very suitable for long listening without fatiguing. Sonically, The treble of RED is bright without irritating, dispatching a warm, natural and pleasing performance.
Another important objective factor of multi-driver earphones is the phase. The full-frequency phase of ZERO:RED is highly consistent, and there is no convergence issue that occurs in common multi-driver earphones, eliminating the unnatural listening experience caused by phase distortion.
New Generation DLP 3D Printing Technology and Medical-Grade Resin
The DLP 3D printing cavity made by HeyGears, matched with its medical-grade high-transparency resin and internal coloring process, ensures the printing accuracy and efficiency, and realizing the delicate acoustic nozzle structure which is difficult to make true by the traditional process, and at the same time, delivering a lightweight cavity and ensuring the skin-friendly and reliable materials.
Optimized Processing Technology
TRUTHEAR not only pursues excellent objective measurements, but also attaches great importance to the optimization and improvement of processing technology; The cavity of ZERO:RED is still a sandwich-like structure (front cavity, decorative panel, and a few drops of glue to fill the seams). It directly realizes the natural smooth radian of the panel by using 3D printing technology, supplemented by a few of drops of glue to fill the seams, and combines with hand-made polishing and automatic gloss painting, offering an exquisite faceplate, and ensuring a durable and reliable structure.
High-Quality Cable + Flexible Expansibility
Four strands of high-quality silver-plated cable, combined with the universal 0.78 2Pin interface (the cavity is a sunken 0.78 2Pin female socket), achieves excellent sound quality, and expands the possibilities by changing cable.
