Triangle Signature - Theta
Hi-Fi Bookshelf Speaker - Signature Theta
The Signature Theta is a 2 ways bookshelf loudspeaker designed for placement on a dedicated stand (ex S04). It features high density cabinets from the Magellan series combined with a high quality gloss finish for a modern and elegant aesthetic.
Don’t let its compact dimensions fool you: the clarity and the depth of the lower end register are extremely impressive for a speaker of this size. The speaker is equipped with a 16cm (6.5 inch) paper, half roll suspension mid-woofer the brings life to instruments and human voices. The horn-loaded tweeter is positioned on the top of the cabinet to avoid any resonances from the cabinet.
A perfect choice for medium rooms between 15 and 30M2, the Signature Theta is dedicated for music lovers looking for a compact speaker with impressive musicality, power and speed. It can also be used as rear channel for a high-end home theater set up.
Craftsmanship
Luxury French Manufacturing
The range conception and design are 100% implemented in France at TRIANGLE’s workshop in Soissons. Thanks to the experience gained from the Magellan range, TRIANGLE is currently offering a form of luxury craftsmanship with SIGNATURE, born from the passion and the work of its teams.
Each item is made and assembled with uncompromised precision to strive for manufacturing perfection and irreproachable sound.
LUXURY WOODWORK
The Signature cabinets are made from 7 high-density fiberboards for an overall thickness of 21mm. This high-density cabinet helps to considerably reduce the speaker’s vibratory behavior.
In view of embellishing this woodwork and of achieving a special luster, either seven or ten coats of paint are added during production in order to reach the “piano lacquer” finish. The cabinets are carefully polished to remove any flaws before adding a new layer of paint.
SIGNATURE TECHNOLOGIES
Over the years, TRIANGLE has developed and patented innovations, improving upon the mechanics and vibrations of loud speakers. Every driver has been entirely redesigned.
A new 185mm aluminum basket with better ventilation, new version of treated paper cones to increase clarity and top quality components to benefit from greater transparency and a more refined tonal balance.
Other unique technology such as the twin vent and the SPEC system play their part in making TRIANGLE’s speakers unique.

The Triangle Signature Theta delivers a deeply layered soundstage, taut bass and startlingly large-scale dynamics from an elegant stand-mount cabinet. TONEAudio found its imaging, refinement and room-filling authority exceptional in compact spaces, while Z Reviews praised its warm detail, composed output and effortless musicality. A serious small-to-medium-room speaker with true high-end presence.

Deep, layered three-dimensional imaging with convincing image height and room-filling scale.
Delivers forceful, controlled bass and dynamic impact that belies its stand-mount dimensions.

Cons
Needs substantial, well-damped stands and careful setup to achieve its best imaging and bass performance.
Its 45Hz bass extension is impressive for the size, but listeners seeking the lowest sub-bass may still want a subwoofer.
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 93/100
Reviewers portray the Theta as an unusually full-scale and refined stand-mount, combining powerful low-end authority, expansive imaging and consistently engaging musicality. It is especially well suited to small and medium rooms where listeners want convincing scale without moving to floorstanders.
Bass
92/100
For a front-ported 6.5-inch stand-mount, reviewers found the claimed 45Hz extension highly convincing. TONEAudio heard a locked-down, forceful groove and enough air movement to make a subwoofer unnecessary in small to medium rooms, while Z Reviews also called its 45Hz reach impressive.
Mid
94/100
Vocals are described as clear, present and naturally integrated with dense electronic material rather than detached from the mix. Z Reviews was particularly emphatic about vocal performance and praised the speaker's combination of warmth, detail and an engaging Triangle character.
Treble
92/100
The titanium-dome presentation appears detailed and airy without becoming aggressive. Z Reviews noted that the Theta does not overwhelm the listener with treble, while TONEAudio's description of precisely suspended high-frequency effects supports its sense of openness and refinement.
Soundstage Imaging
95/100
Imaging is a major strength. TONEAudio heard a deep, three-dimensional and layered soundstage with convincing image height and stable vocal placement, while Z Reviews simply called the imaging brilliant; the Theta can also be spaced relatively widely for room-filling presentation.
Dynamics
95/100
The Theta was repeatedly praised for sounding unconstrained. TONEAudio reported chest-impacting drum strikes, room-filling output from very low power and no congestion at elevated levels, while Z Reviews found it stayed composed as volume was increased.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
91/100
TONEAudio praised the Theta's curvaceous cabinet and exceptionally polished fit and finish, likening its smooth presentation to an exotic car. Z Reviews likewise singled out the elaborate finish as among the most impressive it had encountered, though its comments on the relatively light, resonant cabinet suggest the design prioritizes a particular sonic tuning over sheer inert mass.
Value for Money
93/100
At the reviewed price of around $4,000-$4,200 per pair, TONEAudio considered the Theta remarkable, saying its refinement was more commonly associated with five-figure speakers and that it exceeded expectations for its size and price. Z Reviews regarded it as delivering what buyers should expect at this level, reinforcing that it is a premium purchase whose performance makes a strong case against similarly priced stand-mount peers.
