LUNAR 3

The LUNAR 3 is a premium manual turntable designed to deliver the unique sound of all types of vinyl records. It is ideal for both seasoned audiophiles and those looking for their first high-quality turntable.

Assembled in Europe by our partner Pro-Ject, the LUNAR 3 features a benchmark cartridge: an Ortofon 2M RED factory fitted to an extremely rigid and lightweight carbon fiber straight tonearm.

The components of its motor and belt drive system ensure superior motion quality. Together with carefully selected materials, they turn the LUNAR 3 into a high-precision piece of engineering.

Designed to be universal, the LUNAR 3 incorporates a phono preamp that can be activated when required, enabling it to be connected to a pair of active speakers as well as a more traditional Hi-Fi system.

To blend in with your interior, the LUNAR 3 is available in 3 elegant lacquered finishes: White, Black, and Blue.

Ortofon 2M RED cartridge

The LUNAR 3 features an MM (moving magnet) cartridge, well known to audiophiles: the Ortofon 2M Red. Research carried out by Danish manufacturer Ortofon, who have been specializing in vinyl reproduction for over 100 years, have produced a high-precision cartridge with exceptional musicality.

Its diamond elliptical shaped stylus matches the groove perfectly and enables the LUNAR 3 to deliver outstanding musical performance, so you can get the best possible performance from your vinyl records.

For added simplicity, the cartridge and carbon tonearm are assembled and aligned in the factory by a Pro-Ject technician, ensuring a perfectly functional turntable right from the very first use.

Ultralight and rigid

Carbon Tonearm

The LUNAR 3 features a straight tonearm made from a single piece of carbon, for which Pro-Ject is known. With an effective weight of just 6g, it has the advantage of being both exceptionally light and rigid to reduce unwanted vibrations.

Meticulously engineered, this turntable allows accurate adjustment of the counterweight, which is placed on the back of the tonearm, to optimize the tracking force placed by the cartridge on the record.

The LUNAR 3 also features an antiskating calibration weight to compensate for the centripetal force that pulls the tonearm towards the inside of the record. This prevents playback errors and stops the stylus from sliding across the records, which could affect the quality of your sound and damage the cartridge.

Designed to complement the Capella speakers

LUNAR 3 + CAPELLA

The LUNAR 3 is designed to be the perfect turntable to complement the active TRIANGLE CAPELLA speakers. Thanks to its built-in phono preamp, the turntable can be connected directly to the speakers, without the need for additional equipment.

The turntable finishes have been chosen to match those of the CAPELLA speakers perfectly, to create a harmonious and elegant Hi-Fi system.

Universal compatibility

BUILT-IN MM PHONO PREAMP

The LUNAR 3 was designed to be compatible with all audio systems, from traditional Hi-Fi systems to the latest generation of connected speakers.

It directly integrates an MM phono preamp that can be activated if your Hi-Fi system is not equipped with one.

To ensure perfect connectivity with your Hi-Fi system, high-quality gold plating is used on the turntable's outputs, as well as on the RCA Phono cable supplied with the turntable.

Electronic stylus balance

Precisely measuring stylus tracking forces

To optimize your stylus settings, we recommend using a stylus balance like the Pro-Ject Measure It E.

It allows you to adjust the amount of pressure on your diamond tip to avoid excessive wear of your diamond and vinyl records.

(It is easy to use, simply check that the stylus tracking force reaches 1.8g* and calibrate it using the supplied counterweight.
