The EMT Cartridge 124 Exclusive combines classic broadcast heritage with modern high-end performance. Inspired by the legendary “Tondose” from professional studio technology, it has been refined to deliver uncompromising sonic precision.

Developed by EMT Tontechnik in Switzerland and optimized for use with 12-inch tonearms such as the TP 124, it blends iconic design with technical excellence. The SME connector ensures maximum compatibility and a stable, precise mechanical connection.

At its core is uncompromising sound quality: a ruby cantilever provides highly accurate tracking and stability, while pure gold coil wire enables exceptionally clean signal transmission. The Gyger stylus profile ensures detailed, high-resolution playback down to the finest nuances.

With an output voltage of 0.7 mV (at 5 cm/s), a channel balance of 0.5 dB, and an impedance of 12 ohms, the cartridge is perfectly matched to high-quality MC phono stages, delivering a dynamic and precise sound.
