With the TAS 1500, Thorens offers a high-quality low-output moving coil cartridge for discerning vinyl enthusiasts. Its development focused on achieving the ideal combination with the TD 1500 and TD 403 DD turntables as well as the precision-engineered TP 150 tonearm. With an output voltage of 0.4 mV at 5.5 cm/s, the TAS 1500 is ideally suited for use with high-quality MC phono preamplifiers. Its internal impedance of 12 ohms recommends a load impedance of more than 100 ohms, allowing seamless integration into demanding hi-fi systems.
