Perlisten D8is
The D8is delivers massive, fast bass with unusually tight control, pairing eight carbon-fiber drivers and 3,000W amplification with a slender aluminum form. Mono & Stereo highlights its minimal distortion, vibration-free composure, and potent dynamics, while touchscreen, app control, and 10-band PEQ make this a remarkably configurable high-end bass system.

What Reviewers Are Saying
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Bass
92/100
Mono & Stereo describes the D8is as delivering “massive bass” that is accurate and fast, with minimal distortion. The review also reports zero vibrations, supporting an impression of unusually controlled low-frequency output from this slim-format design.
Integration
50/100
The available review does not describe how the D8is blends with main speakers, whether it disappears into the system, or how easily it avoids localization and boom. Its integration performance in a real system is therefore not addressed.
Dynamics
92/100
The reviewer explicitly calls the D8is dynamic and fast, while also characterizing its bass as massive. That combination points to forceful transient impact without the sense of blur or strain that can accompany very high output.
Build Quality
91/100
Mono & Stereo calls the D8is “a beauty to behold,” highlighting its elegant extruded aluminum enclosure and “incredible engineering design.” The reported absence of cabinet vibration further supports the impression of exceptionally substantial construction.
Features Usability
88/100
The D8is provides extensive setup tools, including a color touchscreen, iOS and Android app control, a 10-band parametric EQ with presets, variable phase, flexible low-pass filtering, and balanced and unbalanced connections. The review does not comment on the day-to-day clarity or ease of using these controls.
Value for Money
85/100
At $21,995, the D8is occupies a very specialized premium segment, with an eight-driver slim enclosure and separate 3,000W amplifier. The supplied review praises its performance and construction but does not directly assess whether it represents strong value against similarly priced alternatives.
