Perlisten D215s
Perlisten’s D215s delivers natural, seismic bass with the precision and force expected of a reference cinema subwoofer. Audioholics highlights exceptional accuracy relative to output and enclosure size, while Home Cinema Choice heard deeply convincing low-frequency weight with thrilling dramatic authority. Dual 15-inch drivers, powerful DSP and extensive EQ make it a seriously controlled high-impact performer.

What Reviewers Are Saying
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Bass
95/100
Home Cinema Choice found the D215s delivered low frequencies that felt "utterly natural" while becoming "occasionally terrifying" when the soundtrack demanded it. Audioholics likewise called it one of the most advanced and accurate subwoofers available relative to both its output and physical size.
Integration
50/100
The available reviews do not directly describe how the D215s blends with particular main speakers, disappears into a system, or responds to room-integration challenges. Its natural low-frequency character is encouraging, but there is no direct setup or blend outcome evidence.
Dynamics
84/100
Home Cinema Choice describes a persuasive combination of "brains and brawn," and its report of occasionally terrifying low-frequency presence suggests substantial dramatic impact. Audioholics also highlights unusually strong performance per decibel of output, although the excerpts provide little detail about maximum-level compression or transient behavior.
Build Quality
50/100
The reviews provided say little about cabinet execution, long-term durability, finish quality, or amplifier reliability. The supplied specifications describe a substantial dual-driver design, but they are not a substitute for reviewer experience of construction quality.
Features Usability
91/100
The D215s offers unusually comprehensive setup tools, including a touchscreen, iOS and Android app control, 10-band parametric EQ with three presets, variable phase, adjustable crossover settings, and balanced and unbalanced connectivity. These facilities should give installers and experienced owners extensive control over placement and room correction, though the supplied reviews do not discuss the app or interface experience in depth.
Value for Money
85/100
At roughly $9,000 to $10,995, the D215s occupies a very expensive reference-subwoofer segment. None of the supplied reviews directly compare its asking price with rivals or make a clear judgment on whether it represents especially strong value.

Manufacturer's Description — Perlisten
D215s subwoofer
Subwoofer is the new black
It's all in the details
MODEL D215s Subwoofer: Dynamic, Accurate, Solid. The audiophile’s choice. Where sound quality and Transients free of overhang are paramount. Simply no better expression of bass performance than our push-pull subs. Ground up drivers developed by our team of engineers. Carbon fiber composite diaphragms, multiple aluminum shorting rings, massive magnets, multi-layer Nomex spiders and lightweight aluminum voice coil wire are the key ingredients – Proprietary nonlinear modeling techniques allow us to simulate all these components and then optimize for real world driver performance – free air and in box. Further refinement is done with the aid of Klippel laser measurements to dial things in. To take performance to another level, the push-pull drivers reduce even order harmonics distortion by an additional 10-12dB. Powered by our 3.0kW amplifier, all functions and safeties are controlled by a 48-bit data bath DSP and 32-bit ARM M4 Cortex processor, able to react in microseconds, powerful enough to slam. All D-Series subs share our 2.4” LCD touchscreen display and ability to control advance settings using our App. Certified by THX Dominus, The D-Series subs are the world’s first. A testament to the level of design and performance achieved.
